They were such a lovely couple........and they live happily ever after ~~ NOT!!

Baru2 ini, my best friend told me that lecturer kesayangan I masa di USM dulu dah bercerai dengan isterinya.

"you two make such a lovely couple"
I & kawan2 I masa umur awal 20-an dulu2 lah ngeeeeeee.

Daisypath - Personal pictureDaisypath Anniversary tickers

Everybody clearly understands the rules of "Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus"; tapi bukan semua orang mampu mengingatkan diri sendiri tentang perbezaan sifat lelaki dan perempuan.

"Women Always Worry About The Things That Men Forget

Men Always Worry About The Things That Women Remember"

*apsal contoh bitrhday je sampai 4 ayat?....ngeeee, lu pikirlah sendiri :p*.

  1. Words of Affirmation

Hearing the words, “I love you,” are important—hearing the reasons behind that love sends your spirits skyward. --> "masa bercinta tiap2 kali nak letak phone cakap I LOVE YOU, lepas kahwin?..hohohoho"

  2. Quality Time

Being there for this type of person is critical, but really being there. Distractions, postponed dates, or the failure to listen can be especially hurtful.--> "sorang duk sibuk main FB, sorang lagi pulak sibuk baca SkySports, hohohoho"

  3. Receiving Gifts

A missed birthday, anniversary, or a hasty, thoughtless gift would be disastrous—so would the absence of everyday gestures.--> "tak semestinya bracelet COACH, tapi apa2 hadi"ah pun takpe..asalkan ada effort yang menunjukkan anda menghargai pasangan anda..ehem ehem ehem"

  4. Acts of Service

Can vacuuming the floors really be an expression of love? Absolutely! Anything you do to ease the burden of responsibilities weighing on an “Acts of Service” person will speak volumes. --> "sama2 kemas rumah jadi rumahku syurgaku..barulah seronok nak melepak di rumah"

  5. Physical Touch

Hugs, pats on the back, holding hands, and thoughtful touches on the arm, shoulder, or face—they can all be ways to show excitement, concern, care, and love. --> "kalau keluar jalan2 tu, kalau boleh pegang tangan je sentiasa..barulah feeling romantik tu berkekalan....ceeeewah"

" Once in a while, in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale ".

(Surah al-Imran ayat 200)

Psssssttt: apsal masa mengarang kat blog, berjela2 idea datang mencurah2. Tapi bila nak tulis paper/report/abstract/research proposal je; kat Introduction pun dah stuck berhari2x..isk3x..tak patut3x.

Yang benar,

~pasangan sama comot sama gedix~

Baby SN's 17th months milestones

Every time I am about to write about Baby SN's milestones, I will realize how rapidly he has grew up. Thus, I feel it is very important to write about his achievement so that I can still remember all these great moments and hopefully, if panjang umur xpasti ..I'd be able to share this story during his growing up phase with baby SN later.

=- mommy & daddy's best friend
peace -=

Here's some of his achievement a.k.a baby SN's 16th & 17th months milestones :-

1. Can understand what mommy & daddy are saying
~ he is able to do things that we ask him to, like to throw his disposable diapers into the dustbin, we will say the words "GOMI" (rubbish) and he will do it excellently.

~ he will then waited for our compliment upon his achievement, simple compliment like saying "jouzu" (great) and clapping hands
tepuktangan will blow him away lepas tu terus tersengih suka ria sengihnampakgigi hehe

2. Latest addition to his vocabulary

~ he'll says "MAMA" when he wants to eat, *bila lah dia nak panggil "MOMMY" nih?* huhuhu..sob sob T_T
~ he'll shout for "DEDE" if he want anything that he couldn't take on his own

~ "TOTOP"= tutup
~ I'm a bit worried about his speaking skills
adacall as he might find it difficult to converse in 3 different languages that he listen to everyday i.e. Japanese, English and Malay. But, I keep thinking positive and assure myself that kids his age are linguistic genius, therefore we should just keep talking to him to help him in his communication skills.

=- socialize dengan baby Jepun, mommy tak faham apa yang dua baby ni borak kan -=

3. Master some part of the Japanese gesture

~ By Japanese gesture here I'm referring to the bowing gestures made by Japanese

~ whenever someone said "ARIGATOU", "ITERASYAI", "KONNICHIWA", "OHAYO GOZAIMASU"; baby SN will respond by bowing his head...
:males: *super chomeyl okeh terngok dia terbongkok2 kepala kadang2 sampai terhantuk kat lantai* kui3x.

4. A little more handful to mommy & daddy
~ besides able to throw the rubbish into the dustbin, baby SN always
eager to let us involve him in house chores activities such as tidying the futon and put in inside the closet.
~ though he can't do it perfectly yet, but he was able to pick up the pillows and arrange it inside the closet,
nanti bila dia dah pandai kemas sendiri.....senang kerja mommy sengihnampakgigi ngeeeeeeeeeeee.
~ he'd be more than delighted to help me when I'm hanging the clothes
tapi lepas 3 minit tolong mommy, mula rasa bosan agaknya.... dia buang je baju2 tu merata2 atas lantai huhuhuhu.

=- video baby SN tolong mommy & daddy kemas futon -=

5. Become too obsessed with Laptop, DVD player and iPhone
~ he wanted us to always PLAY his baby Einstein video or Siri Doa video or Nursery Rhymes video allllll the time when he was staying at home. Tengah2 malam pun kalau takleh tidur, tetaplah nak tengok video..adoyaiii.

http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_c3es7FyunLI/TO9kXv2eqQI/AAAAAAAAJkw/hgPxcvq1obM/s1600/DSC_0003-5.JPG
=- bangun je dari tidur ngantuk terus suruh PLAY video -=

~ at the same time, while watching his video he'll ask me to PLAY the ABC song in my iPhone and if I refuse to do that, he'll cry out loud sampai satu blok boleh dengar suara nyaring dia..huwaaaaa...iPhone mommy dah tak de urpa henfon dah, comot dengan cap jari dia bertompok2 kat screen...
adus uwaaaaaaaaaaaa.

~ I risau jugak dengan obsession dia ni sebab I ada baca this article about Baby Einsteins: Not So Smart After All By Alice Park ; tapi buat masa ni I memang tak mampu nak halang keinginan dia untuk tengok his educational videos and songs whenever he ask for it tension huhuhu

=- tak nyempat2 nak buckle seat belt dalam car seat, terus suruh ON DVD player dia huhuhu -=

6. Still Breastfeeding
~ baby SN is a big fan of mommy's milk that everytime I come back home, he'll straight away say the word "NAK NEK"; kadang2 mommy tak sempat bukak tudung lagi dia dah ambik bantal untuk menyusu hehe
~I dah tak pam susu lagi untuk bekal dia sebab kat nursery, diorang bagi fresh milk untuk baby over 1 year old.

~ infact Doctor pun dah advise untuk baby SN stop minum susu ibu tapi I tak sampai hati nak stop kan lagi though I have to admit that there are times that I feel like I nak stop, tapi bila fikir2 semula..tak jadi la nak stop lagi..erm, takpe lah, selagi I mampu dan selagi ada rezeki dia nak minum susu ibu...mommy will continue nursing you darling.
love
~ everytime I feel like giving up and start weaning him, I'll look at this video of Claire(one of the 12 finalists of ANTM season 10). I'm encouraged by Claire's will, though she was so keen on pursuing her dream to be a top model, it doesn't stopped her from pumping her milk while she's away from her daughter....that's is super sweet effort senyumkenyit by a mother to her baby.

7. Started using training pant
~ as part of potty training effort done by his nursery, we have to provide at least 3 pieces of training pants for him everyday
~ It is easy to potty train your baby using training pants because children connect the immediacy of wetness and the prompt consequences of wetting, they learn
nerdhow their body works.
~ This helps them learn how to sense a full bladder and communicate their needs to adults.

=- baby SN's collections of training pants -=

8. Super grumpy and cranky 24-7 a day
~ as I've mentioned in my entry Up and down of being a perasan chomeyl mommy, baby SN is being ridiculously manja ::( sekarang ni that I sometime miss the time when he was little baby yang baik dan jarang nangis dulu2.
~ Here's are some of the tips shared by my beloved friends in the entry to help me to overcome this problem :-
  • read the book pasal handling tantrum (The Happiest Toddler on the Block: How to Eliminate Tantrums and Raise a Patient, Respectful, and Cooperative One- to Four-Year-Old: Revised Edition, by Dr Karp)
  • bisik kat telinga baby kata2 nasihat & baca surah fatihah & 4 Qul.

Even kat city ward office masa his 17th months check up pun dia boleh menjerit2 tak puas hati hahahaha gatai ..anak oh anak.

=- tengah tunjuk perasaan menjerit kuat2 sambil geleng2 kepala lepas tu diam bila tengok ada baby lain nangis hahahaha -=

Whatever his behavior is, and doesn't matter how much I'm super annoyed with his tantrum and cries, I still love him so damn much. After all, I guess it is true when people said that "children's behavior is a reflection of their parents action". Hehehe..I wont be blaming him for acting so clingy and manja and mengada2, sebab I pun memang manja dan mengada even dah tua bangka macam sekarang ni ekekekeke.

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_c3es7FyunLI/TM5EXv7YlHI/AAAAAAAAJUU/zpQF51WeG40/s1600/DSC_0083.JPG
=- mommy's boy; like mother like son -=

Old-style European architecture at Mojiko Retro, Kitakyushu

This week's travel and living segment in Yatie Chomeyl's Blog will brings you guys to see some part of Japan which has an European touch on it. I'm talking about Mojiko Retro, which is situated at Kitakyushu. This place is the most northern part of Kyushu Island.

Mojiko means Moji's port, and Retro comes from the word "retrospective" in English. This port was opened in 1889 and become one of the most successful international port during that era. A lot of national and international trading companies built their office in Mojiko, and its downtown was very busy with visitors all around the world. Even after declining of the distribution business in Mojiko area, most of buildings have been remains the same till today. After 100 years its prosperity, now Mojiko area has been revived with the intermixed of exotic buildings of old age and attractive new amusement spots.

This city is nice for sightseeing as it offers different view of the buildings in other part of Japan. Bukan senang nak dapat tengok bangunan design European kat Jepun ni, selalunya bangunan kotak2 4 segi *yang macam Ultraman dengan Raksasa duk pijak2* tu je. There are lots of tourist spots available in this city, so we try as much as we could to went to all of the suggested place.

1) Mojiko Port
• we park our car at the port and have a nice stroll around the city
• baby SN seronok betul dapat jalan kat port tu, siap "bye bye" kat semua orang yang lalu sebelah dia, bajet2 dia artis ke apa ntah eheh.

=- budak kecik perasan macho, jalan takmo mommy pimpin tangan dia -=

2)
Mojiko JR station
• built in 1914 and now become a national important cultural property because of it's status as the oldest wooden building in Kyushu island
there were also rickshaw service available here for a tour around the city, tapi kami tak naik lah..lagi senang nak ambik gambar kalau tour jalan kaki sendiri.

3) Kyushu Railway History Museum

• opened in 2003 by reviving the old office building of Kyushu Railway Company.

http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_c3es7FyunLI/TO3USTx9upI/AAAAAAAAJiA/meMfKDOaHTY/s1600/DSC_0134.JPG

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_c3es7FyunLI/TO3UDvdJKeI/AAAAAAAAJhA/tH11gDMrYq4/s1600/DSC_0057.JPG

• It features the history of Kyushu Railway by showing the real trains or rolling stocks, also there is miniature steam trains that children can enjoy to ride.

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_c3es7FyunLI/TO3UPkoO7kI/AAAAAAAAJho/kqxGthte-kk/s1600/DSC_0114-1.JPG
=- bye bye, nak balik kampung dah -=

• Baby SN and his daddy got the chance to control the train in the simulation room.

=- inside the train simulation -=

• We also ride on the train's miniature though it is a little bit small for mommy & daddy to fit in into the model. Mommy & daddy terpaksa lah naik jugak train tu, takkan nak biar Baby SN naik sorang2 kan? *ngeeee....alasan; padahal memang gedix nak naik gak*.

=- sikit lagi nak terhantuk kepala mommy & daddy; budak kecik pulak tgh berangan jd driver train -=

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_c3es7FyunLI/TO3URXCX3bI/AAAAAAAAJh4/sFWQHZQNXms/s1600/DSC_0131.JPG
=- inilah train yang baby SN drive -=

4) Old Moji Mitsui Club
• This building is also designated as an national important cultural property.
• Albert Einstein stayed here on the time he visited Japan with his wife, and that room keeps remains the same as an exhibition.

5) Kaikyo Plaza
• Kaikyo Plaza is a souvenir shop where visitors can enjoy shopping the unique gifts or dining in the restaurants.
• This place also features "Music Box Museum" and "Glass Art Museum."

6) Old Moji Customs Building

• It is constructed in 1912 with beautiful red bricks. They have a cafe and gallery inside.

http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_c3es7FyunLI/TO3T00C-1ZI/AAAAAAAAJgQ/IK3rX8HIpUE/s1600/DSC_0028.JPG

7) Kitakysuhu Commemorative Library Of International Friendship
• this building is a replica of the Chinese eastern railway Office that Russia had constructed in Dalian, China.
• was built in commemoration of the 15th anniversary of the friendship between Kitakyushu and Dalian.

• 1st floor: restaurant, 2nd floor: a library with a collection of Chinese and East Asian literature; 3rd floor: a reference room

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_c3es7FyunLI/TO3Uk-ZYxmI/AAAAAAAAJiY/H8R4ohtef1U/s1600/DSC_0161.JPG

8) Kanmonkyo Bridge

• The largest bridge at Kitakyushu, linking Kitakyūshū and Shimonoseki (on Kyūshū and Honshū respectively) via the Kanmon Straits.

http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_c3es7FyunLI/TO3UmRCNGGI/AAAAAAAAJio/LNAakT-AWok/s1600/DSC_0202.JPG

9) Mekari Second Observation Deck
• The terrace offers an unparalleled view of the mountains on Kyushu Island and Honshu Island, the Kanmon Strait between them and many ships that pass through the strait.

• Visitors can see a beautiful night view featuring the Bridge and the city lights on the opposite shore.

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_c3es7FyunLI/TO3VZYImjfI/AAAAAAAAJkA/HMlaaBRlIhU/s1600/DSC_0285.JPG
=- ahli rombongan ke Kitakyushu -=

• Memang cantik pemandangan kat puncak ni, sebab boleh nampak pemandangan seluruh city ni dan jugak jambatan yang terkenal kat sini iaitu Kanmon Bridge.

http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_c3es7FyunLI/TO3VSrHEsXI/AAAAAAAAJj4/l70kuGm_RWI/s1600/DSC_0272.JPG

• Kat sini jugak ada "Mural of the Battle of Dannoura between the Genji and Heike".

=- "Mural of the Battle of Dannoura between the Genji and Heike" -=

=- the history of the mural -=

10) World Peace Pagoda
• This pagoda was originally built to commemorates the Japanese soldiers who were killed at the Burmese front during World War II. Nowadays it is a peace memorial.
• We didnt get to enter the pagoda area as it was already closed when we arrived to that place, so we just posing kat luar pagar tu je la.

11) Norfolk Square
• The grand Kanmon Strait spreads right in front of Norfolk Square.
• This is a popular place to view ships and the Kanmon Bridge.
• This place was named in commemoration of the sister city relationship between Kitakyushu and Norfolk, Virginia, which is on the east coast of the US.
• Baby SN was already fall asleep when we arrived here, tapi mommy & daddy tetap dukung dan paksa dia posing walaupun kepala dia dah terlentuk2 eheh...*kejam betol*.

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_c3es7FyunLI/TO3VZmudgzI/AAAAAAAAJkI/OekQyohgHkc/s1600/DSC_0290.JPG
=- terlentuk2 dah kepala baby SN -=

Actually, our main intention to visit this place was to walk through the Kanmon Pedestrian Tunnel and walk inside the water tunnel to reach Honshu Island!. This tunnel starts in Moji-ko, near Mekari Park. The tunnel runs underwater between the islands of Kyushu and Honshu. But, unfortunately the tunnel was closed for maintenance work on that day. So, we end up letting the kids enjoy playing at the squid slides at Mekari Park.

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_c3es7FyunLI/TO3U-ACrkjI/AAAAAAAAJiw/vLSn6ZbrJ9I/s1600/DSC_0205.JPG

http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_c3es7FyunLI/TO3U-hdbiKI/AAAAAAAAJi4/co2XR7AfzeE/s1600/DSC_0210.JPG

Surprisingly, it seems like not only the kids enjoying the slides but mak bapak budak2 lagi terlebih excited main gelongsor2 unik kat situ...ekekekeke.

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_c3es7FyunLI/TO3U_t9Wo_I/AAAAAAAAJjA/PrbynsE4DJw/s1600/DSC_0228.JPG
=- mommy & daddy 'terpaksa' temankan baby SN main slides ni -=

I hope you guys did enjoy the pictures and also story behind this trip. Gambar tak superb sangat due to foggy and gloomy sky on that day. Overall it was a nice sightseeing trip experience and I am very happy to be able to share it with you guys . Stay tune for the next entry of travel and living segment in Yatie Chomeyl's Blog as I'll bring you to another famous tourist spot here in Kyushu Island. *ecewahhh, macam rancangan TV pulak, siap suruh orang stay tune segala bagai ngeeeee*.
