Test Lesen Jepun yang mencabar jiwa raga

http://www.murabbi.net/images/smiley/assalamualaikum.gif
In Japan, even though driver's seat are on the right hand side like Malaysia; the steps to get Japanese License wasn't as easy as in our country. Some of my friends here even had to took the test for the 10-th time before finally obtaining the license. As for me, I did passed it last 2 weeks on my 4th attempt. Alhamdulillah, all praises due to Allah.

Mula-mula I memang tak berhajat pun nak ambil lesen Jepun, tapi sebab hubby dah balik Malaysia...nak tak nak I terpaksa jugak kena ada lesen Jepun. Bukan apa, selama ini I cuma guna international License saja, dan international license tak valid sebab I dah stay kat Jepun ni 3 tahun lebih. Foreigners can drive in Japan with a recognized international driving permit for up to one year after entering the country.

I cuma risau kalau accident ke apa, jadi masalah besar pulak considering that I tak ada lesen Jepun; so I pun ambik lah jugak lesen Jepun walaupun banyak jugak lah duit habis.

Foreign license must be converted into Japanese. For conversion (Japanese translation of foreign license– available from the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF), you must prove that you have stayed in the country where your foreign license was issued for over three months. The foreign license must be valid at the time of conversion.

You must apply with the necessary documents noted below and pass the aptitude test, written test, and practical test. Written tests involve 10 simple questions and can be taken in English, Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, Korean, Persian, Thai, Tagalog, or Russian.

Necessary Documents :
- Application form (available at the driving test center)
- 2 photographs: length 3cm×width 2.4cm (color or black & white); taken within 6 months
- Valid foreign license
- Official foreign license translation from:  Japan Automobile Federation (JAF)
- Passport: a proof showing that you have stayed in the country for over 3 months after obtaining your foreign license
- Alien registration card or certificate of alien registration
- Interpreter (If you do not speak Japanese)

+- step by step nak ke kaunter mana (kat tempat test lesen) -+

Sebelum hubby balik Malaysia, dia sempat bagi tips kat I. Plus I pun ada cari tips dengan kawan2 kat sini dan jugak dari foreigners yang lain yang share experience diorang kat forum2.

So, I pun nak share jugak lah kat sini untuk kawan2 yang mungkin nak ambil test lepas ini so that korang tak berhabis duit setiap kali kena retest.

TAKING THE TEST - for automatic transmission

(1) Before You Get In The Car
Walk around car and do the following:
  • Bend down and look under the back of the car
  • Bend down and look under the front of the car
  • Before walking out toward the driver's side, look both ways as if you are parked on a very busy street
(2) Before You Start the Engine
Sit in the driver's seat and do the following (in any order)

  • Adjust your seat, even if it doesn't need it.
  • Put on your seat belt; make sure there are no twists.
  • Put your hand on the rear-view mirror, adjust if needed, and double-check the side mirrors.

(3) Before You Pull Out
When the proctor has given you the okay do the following in order:
  1. Check that emergency brake is in place, visually or with your hand
  2. Start the car with the brake pressed in
  3. Release the emergency brake
  4. Put your turn signal on
  5. Put the car into Drive
  6. Before you move the car, do the "full head spin"
    • Look over your left shoulder
    • Look in your passenger side mirror
    • Look in your rear-view mirror
    • Look in your driver side mirror
    • Look over your right shoulder
  7. If you're clear, really clear, slowly pull forward

(4) On The Road
  • Stay left - The only time you don't stay to the left side is when you are making a right turn. In that case, go to on the right side of the lane within 50cm (but be careful of the line!) * I failed the 2nd time because I tak cukup rapat ke kiri/ke kanan sebelum membelok*
  • Pump those brakes
When you slow down or stop, always pump your brakes instead of pressing down on them once. This is especially important right before you enter a curve. *I failed the 2nd time sebab I brake masa kat selekoh, sepatutnya kena brake sebelum corner*

  • Signal early and often
  • Look over your shoulder
    (a) LEFT TURN - This is one of the most unintuitive, but important rules you must follow in order to pass the test. Every time you make a left turn:
    1. Look right.
    2. Look left.
    3. Look in your passenger side mirror.
    4. Look over your left shoulder. (IMPORTANT!)
    5.
    (b) RIGHT TURN - When you make a right turn, the procedure is the same:
    1. Look left.
    2. Look right.
    3. Look in your driver's side mirror.
    4. Look over your right shoulder
    5.
    (c) CHANGING LANES - When you change lanes, ALWAYS signal and look over your shoulder before turning the wheel. *I failed the 3rd time because kepala I tak cukup menoleh ke kanan*
  • THE S-CURVE AND THE CRANK
    - The S-curve is exactly that, a narrow curve shaped like an "S."
    - The crank is a very narrow section of road.  This crank is a road with two sharp right-angle turns, shaped like a square 'S' or '5'.
  • Red Lights  - Stop with your bumper well behind the line at a red light. Look both ways before proceeding, despite that it is green and your right-of-way.
  • Other Cars -  There will be very few other cars on the course at the same time as you, but when you do come across them, give them wide berth.
  • Crosswalks - You don't have to stop at a crosswalk, but slow down (pumping the brakes a couple times).

 (5) ADDITIONAL ADVICE
  • Love Your Mirrors - Always keep an eye on your mirrors, especially before a turn or a lane change. Look in your rear-view mirror before you brake.
  • Look Both Ways - Look left and right at EVERY INTERSECTION you cross, even if it is a traffic light intersection and the light is green.
  • Make Wide Right Turns - Although you should take left turns as tight as possible, take right turns rather wide, especially when you are turning onto a double-lane street. Also, remember to turn into the FAR LEFT lane when turning right.* I failed the 3rd time sebab I tak terus masuk ke lane kiri when turning right*
  • Speed - On the course, there is usually a long, straight area where the proctor will want you to go 35kph. Once you have reached the speed limit or the speed the proctor has indicated, slow down again immediately.
  • Obstructed Views - There will be one intersection with high walls on both sides.  GO SLOW. Approach the intersection very carefully, leaning forward toward your windshield as you go to check that the hidden view is clear.
  • Curves -  Take curves very slow, about 15-20kph. Pump your brakes repeatedly before entering a curve, but do not pump your brakes inside the curve.

(6) At the End
  1. The proctor will usually say the color of the pole he/she wants you to pull up at.
  2. Pull forward until your front bumper is exactly in line with the striped pole.
  3. Put on the emergency brake and put the car into Park.
  4. Turn off the car, leaving the key in the ignition.
  5. Wait for the proctor to give you further instructions. He may tell others in the car to leave before he tells you your mistakes. He may ask you to move into the back seat for the next driver. He may tell you to wait outside or in the building. Always be polite and try to say "arigato gozaimasu"

+- peta berconteng2 dengan tips. sila hafal peta kalau tak nak gelabah masa test -+

+- litar test -+

So I memang bawak novel untuk I baca sambil menunggu.

+- The Zahir by Paulo Coelho -+

Walaupun step nak lulus tu macam tersangatlah leceh, tapi dah memang gitu lah style orang Jepun. Mind you kat Malaysia I pass test lesen kereta + motor on my first attempt sahaja. Tapi kat sini, lagi confident muka driver tu; lagi rendah chance untuk lulus kot.

Antara sebab-sebab I failed ialah kepala tak cukup menoleh ke belakang sebelum tukar lane, kedudukan kereta tak cukup rapat ke line sebelum membelok, membrek di selekoh dan juga tak terus masuk ke lane kiri when turning right.

Kesimpulannya, sila lah exaggerate setiap pergerakan mata dan kepala biar sampai lenguh2 tengkuk pun takpe. By the end of the test, I dah rasa macam I ni penari lagu hindustan sebab selalu kena geleng kepala kiri kanan jelir.

Mula-mula I bercadang nak ambik test 2x sahaja tapi sebab rasa tercabar dalam hati, maka I nak jugak amik sampai berjaya. I geram bila tak lulus sebab alasan2 kecil macam tu so I nak buktikan yang I mampu lulus.

Masa kali ke-4 test; I baca doa di permudahkan urusan banyak2 kali. Agaknya yang sebelum2 tu I tak lulus sebab I tak baca doa dulu; padahal semua urusan akan di permudahkan bila kita berdoa dengan penuh pengharapan pada Allah.

Psssstttt : memandangkan I dah ada lesen Jepun, semangat nak berjalan2 semakin membuak2. Jom pusing2 Jepun lagi...vroooommmmmmmmmmm..
ihikhik

SN baca Al-Fatihah, doa2 dan Lagu 25 Rasul

http://www.murabbi.net/images/smiley/assalamualaikum.gif
Rasa macam dah lamaaaaaa sangat tak update pasal milestone SN. Kalau dulu masa dia baby, tiap2 bulan update milestone dia, tapi sejak dah masuk umur 2 tahun ni rasa macam tak terkejar dah nak update tiap-tiap bulan. Last I update pasal milestone dia ialah masa umur 2 tahun--> SN reads hijaiyah letters @ 2 years old

2 hari lepas, genap usia SN 2 tahun 5 bulan. Alhamdulillah dah macam-macam yang dia pandai buat. Paling ketara, sekarang ini dia cakap banyak sampai kadang-kadang mommy tak larat nak layan.

Here are some of SN's milestones from 26 months - 29 months of age :-

(1) Tantrums and "Time-Out Techniques"
Tantrums pun dah berkurangan, consider manageable especially since I guna teknik "Time-Out Techniques" ataupun "Naughty-step" yang Supernanny ajar tu; memang nampak berkesan untuk bagi teguran dan peringatan kat dia. Siap I install Supernanny apps kat iPhone to guide me to go through the right steps using this technique, brilliant apps isn't it?.

+- Supernanny apps khas untuk SN kat iPhone mommy -+

(2) Learn about animals
Kadang-kadang SN yang jadi Nihon-go sensei untuk mommy, contohnya macam pagi tadi SN ajar mommy new Japanese word i.e. "Tonbo" = dragonfly. Minggu lepas dia ajar mommy "Tentoumushi"= ladybird. Terima kasihlah SN sebab sudi ajar mommy new words in Japanese setiap hari. jelir

+- tengok kartun Dinosaur ditemani oleh dinosaurs sekali -+

(3) Demand his wants

+- seronok main, buat macam rumah sendiri -+

Bagus jugak ada indoor playground ni, mommy tinggalkan SN main kat situ kejap then mommy pergi beli groceries. Sekejap je settle urusan groceries sebab tak payah nak tambah aktiviti kejar mengejar dia main lari-lari celah rak ataupun nak kena kemas balik makanan2 yang dia pandai2 tarik dari rak masa shopping.

+- buat muka tension kalau kena paksa duduk dalam troli -+

(4) Eat by himself
Sekarang ini kalau makan kat luar, SN memang tak nak mommy suap dia. Malu agaknya kalau orang tengok makan bersuap lagi di usia 2 tahun 5 bulan, nanti tak macho lah kalau awek-awek Jepun tengok mrgreen ececece.

+- makan soba & udon dengan berselera -+

(5) Colour and draw circle
He can colour according to the lines dan tak comot sangat lah, kira nya nampak berseni lah walaupun tak sedasyat Leornado Da Vinci mahupun Michael Angelo.

(6) Bagi salam and understand order

+- (video): SN @ 2 tahun 2 bulan ~ bagi salam, peace, smile, laugh and cry -+

(7) Recite Doa, Al-fatihah and 25 rasul

Walaupun pencapaian dan perkembangan minda SN dah macam budak besar, tapi perangai manja dan suka berkepit bawah ketiak mommy masih sama macam masa baby dulu2.Takpe lah SN, macam mommy selalu cakap..."you will always be my baby". Cayangggg SN sangat-sangat love ...mmmuuuaaaccchhhh.

Psssttt :  SN demam + selsema + batuk penangan cuaca yang semakin sejuk dan jugak penangan kena air hujan masa weekend hari tu kot. Ke dia demam rindu kat daddy eh?

Back for good - Malaysia

 http://www.murabbi.net/images/smiley/assalamualaikum.gif
In my previous entry WW (5) : Back for good - Malaysia; ada yang suspen bila I tunjuk gambar urusan kargo dan departure hall di Fukuoka Airport.

Since I tak habis study lagi dan kena stay lagi kat sini, so tak banyak sangatlah barang yang hubby bawak balik.

Flight pukul 11 pagi so by 8.30 kitorang dah sampai kat airport.

Bila daddy beratur kat area departure gate baru lah nampak SN macam resah sikit.

+- daddy's boy; peluk daddy erat2 sebab nak ikut -+

+- sampai daddy dah nak dekat masuk gate pun, SN masih lari2 kat daddy -+

I promised myself that I wont cry kat airport tu as I don't want hubby untuk risau pasal kami berdua yang di tinggalkan. So I avoid myself from thinking about how sad I am and join borak2 and buat lawak dengan kawan-kawan lain. I was able to hold my tears sepanjang kat airport tu dan depan kawan-kawan *tak chomeyl lah kalau nangis depan orang ye dak?* kenyit. Sampaikan my SIL pulak yang risau tengok I terlebih control macho and she asked "Kak Tie OK ke?".

+- perpisahan sementara yang menguji kekuatan cinta love  -+

The truth is, of course I memang sedih sangat-sangat. Tambah lagi sebak bila hubby pesan kat kawan-kawan kat sini untuk tolong tengok2kan kami berdua, walaupun hubby tak tunjuk emosi dia tapi I tahu hubby pun risau nak tingal dua insan kesayangan dia ini.

I  have to keep reminding myself that true love doesn't mean being inseparable; it means being separated and nothing changes. Plus we used to be in a long distance relationship before we were married, so I just take this as another phase in our life that we have to go through.

+- Venue: Observation deck, Fukuoka Airport -+

I. Kalau agak-agak perasaan syahdu tu nak bertamu, I cepat-cepat pergi cari therapy paling berkesan i.e. shopping! ihikhik

Jumpa Alien di Space World

 http://www.murabbi.net/images/smiley/assalamualaikum.gif
Recently, kami berkesempatan untuk berjumpa dengan Alien. How cool is that?. Korang tak pernah jumpa alien kan? *berlagak gila tak soalan?*

We went to Space World in Kitakyushu city dengan niat nak bawak my SIL jalan-jalan to theme park. After all, it's the only theme park in Kyushu. Since we can't bring her to Disneyland Tokyo, Disneysea Tokyo or Universal Studio Japan Osaka; Space World  is a good place to get her thrills in.

Space World is quite small *compared to Disneyland Tokyo, Disneysea Tokyo or Universal Studio Japan Osaka* but still it is fun theme park especially for those roller coaster lovers out there. At Space World, there is a full line-up of attractions to suit everyone: families, thrill seekers, fun lovers who want to enjoy a big splash on the water rides, and space lovers looking for that authentic space experience.

We were greeted by Lucky Rabbit and his friends who live in Space World. They were Lucky Rabbit (The leader with a strong sense of justice) and Vicky Rabbit (Very well-educated and kind) mascots that have greeted us on that day.

+- Lucky Rabbit -+

+- Vicky Rabbit -+

Here are list of the attractions at Space World  yang kitorang naik on that day.

(1) Alien Panic - Evolution
• ala-ala rumah hantu  where you are stepping carefully through the dark cabin, when something suddenly appears
• macam biasa, I pegang hubby kuat-kuat dan tutup mata sepanjang kat dalam tu, so sila jangan tanya I apa yang ada dalam tu sebab I lansung tak bukak mata mrgreen

+- muka je ganas, padahal penakut -+

+- entrance -+

(2) Roller coasters
• Space World offers some decent roller coasters which I dont ride on any single ride of it at all sebab kena jaga SN *tak nak mengaku penakut dan tak tahan pening kalau naik roller coaster*.
• Hubby and Naznin enjoy all the roller coaster rides while I am having fun accompanying SN with other rides and attractions. There are 6 exisiting roller coaster at Space World :-
(i) Black Hole Scramble - A white knuckle roller coaster ride that propels you in complete darkness.
(ii) Twin Mercury - This water ride has both a course with a 16m sudden drop and a relaxed course for small children.

(iii) Clipper-  A roller coaster available for kids aged from 3 years and up.
(iv) Titan V - There’s hardly time to breathe when this thrill ride suddenly plummets down 60m at 115kph!

+- hubby and Naznin (red circle) -+

(v) Venus GP - A thrill like no other, wonder at the gigantic loops and twisting, turning course!
(vi) Zaturn - Taste fear and exhilaration with this “rocket” coaster that blasts riders at 130kph to the top of this attraction, a maximum angle of 89 degrees and height of 65 meters!

(3) Lucky Land
• This area is full of attractions for small children dan sangat sesuai juga untuk mak budak yang tak matang macam I jelir

• My all time favorite rides is of course the merry-go-round, dari kecik membawa ke tua tak puas-puas naik kuda pusing ni.

•  SN & I memang sama-sama teruja untuk naik all the attractions kat small children sections ni while hubby and Naznin pulak terpaksa naik sekali rides small aircraft kanak-kanak untuk temankan kami.

• Masa SN & I naik ferris wheel, hubby & Naznin tak nak join so diorang pergi naik roller coasters. Ingat tak mencabar ke ferris wheel?. Sangat mencabar OK!. A Ferris wheel with a pinnacle of approx. 100 m; tinggi kan?. *sila cakap tinggi, kalau tak I majuk takmo kawan dengan u all *

+- mommy & SN kat dalam gondola ferris wheel -+

• Sambil tunggu his daddy & Cik Amah turun dari roller coaster, SN main kat pool pulak. Dah la mommy tak bawak baju/seluar spare untuk dia, terpaksa keringkan baju & seluar dia kat dryer yang di sediakan..nasib baik F.O.C.mrgreen

+- happy gila dapat main air -+

• Then his daddy & Cik Amah joined SN and I masuk kat dalam lucky land hall tu.

+- SN get ready nak tembak Alien -+

(4) Space Museum
• This theme-park is basically build up with space-themed which explains why I enjoy my time here as it somehow related to my studies in Aeronautics.
• Humanity’s development of space is introduced through displays featuring the actual items used.

+- Astronaut Naznin & Astronaut Yatie Chomeyl -+

 +- Astronaut SN & Astronaut Solah -+

(5) Mission To Mars
• With seats that move in sync with the giant video screen, visitors feel like they are piloting through outer space!
• Yang rides ni pun nyaris2 I tak nak naik sebab takut pening, nasib baik gerakan seats tu tak dasyat sangat so selamatlah diri ini dari pening2, mual2 mahupun muntah2 kat situ.

(6) Planet AQA
• Experience the rush and thrills of shooting the rapids.
• Naik bot ala2 lalu kat jeram gitu..tak mencabar sangat tapi I buat-buat menjerit saja nak psycho orang2lain yang tengah beratur tunggu turn ; sengal tak?

+- apakah itu "Wate Time" tuan2 dan puan2 sekalian? mrgreen -+

Overall, we enjoy our time at the theme park though there's not much rides and attractions to dive into. At least we don't have to queue up for so long to enjoy those rides there since tak ramai sangat orang kat theme park ini.

Naznin and SN are happy that we brought them there ..so I guess that's what matter the most. Asalkan anak happy, mommy pun happy *tambah happy sebab daddy yang bayar tiket bukannya mommy* mrgreen  ngeh3x. Walaupun mommy tak dapat naik rides roller coasters tu sebab terpaksa temankan SN, mommy redha wahai anakku jelir

+- senyuman manis dari SN untuk semua -+

Pssssttt : I sebenarnya tak takut pun nak naik roller coaster tapi sebab I tak tahan pening dan mudah mabuk bila pusing2, karang tak pasal-pasal muntah kat atas rides tu sebab tu I tak naik. *disclaimer ke in-denial statement ni?*.jelir
