Laduree Paris now opens in Fukuoka ~ yippee!

You see, I'm the type of person who loves to crave for all sort of foods even though I'm not pregnant. I mean being pregnant is not the ultimate reason on why people crave for foods right?. Well, at least I believe so in my case because I could go craving for some foods every single week even though I'm not pregnant right now.


For the past few weeks, I've been craving to go get some macarons at the newly opened ELLE cafe in Hakata Hankyu. The thing is ELLE Cafe is situated at the 4th floor. On the way to the escalator, I came across a shop that makes my heart stops beating for millisecond *thank Allah, this is just an idiom, if my heart do stops beating I bet I wont be able to publish this entry and you guys wont be able to read this entry right now eheh*.


It is actually the famous Laduree Paris shop!. LADUREE Paris opened on the 1st floor in newly opened 7 story HAKATA HANKYU MALL ; which explains why I bumped into these shop first on my way to the ELLE Cafe. All of the sudden, I have forgotten my intention to go to ELLE Cafe and instead I go gaga over the interior design of the shop. Man, the interior design of the shop is amazingly cute that you feels like you never want to leave the shop.

For those of you who might not have heard about Laduree Paris before this, Ladurée (French pronunciation: [la.dy.ʁe]) is a luxury cakes and pastries brand based in Paris, France. It is known as the inventor of the macaron, fifteen thousand of which are sold every day.

They are still one of the BEST KNOWN MAKERS OF MACARONS IN THE WORLD!.

Here are some of the macaroons that they have in store :-

It cost 250 yen per macarons and I am so ready to pick two pieces of every single flavor that they have in store before hubby stopped me... pffffftttttt. He humbly said that he don't want it so I should just buy for SN & I, auw what a nice guy.

But he wasn't being that nice because he stopped me one more time while I was ordering my 6th pieces of macarons...pffffttttttt. Nevertheless, he become one nice and sweet husband again when he paid the 6 pieces of macaroons ( 2 x Madagascar chocolate; 2 x chua origine pure chocolate and 2 x Raspberry) that I've choose for SN and I.

You see, the thing about Laduree that makes me go crazy is not only that the interior was superbly cute but even the boxes are damn cutesy!. How can I opt for a 6 pieces macarons when I can get cuter box for 8 , 18, 13, 22, 24, 40, 55, 60 and even 70 macaroons!. Boy, how I wish I went to the shop with SN only and then I can choose how much macarons that I want in order to get the cute box...hahahaha *evil grin*.

But then in order for me to go to the shop, I have to ask for hubby's permissions first, and I'm 99.999% sure that after hubby reads this entry he won't allowed me to go near the shop ever again. In fact, I don't think I'd be allowed to go near Hakata Hankyu mall anymore *sob sob*.

Those macarons can be kept for 3 days in cold storage so SN & I decided to eat 2 pieces per day. As both SN & I are nice persons, we do let hubby has a bite on our piece of macarons. Just a bite of it and then hubby said, the macarons that I made taste the same as Laduree macarons. *kembang hidung*.

But then of course the look of the macarons that I made is not as lusciously cute as Laduree's macarons are. Still, hubby insists that look's doesn't matter, what matter more is the taste. Pffffttt .... he's not a good liar because I could see the reason behind him giving me that compliments was mainly because of the price for each pieces of the Laduree macarons that made him go crazyyyyyyyyyy. Nevertheless, I took the compliment and I shall start working on my macarons project again soon.


For this time being, let me just sum up that the taste of Laduree macarons that have a crisp outer shell and have moist, kinda chewy innards along with a rich ganache filling is beyond words to express with. They are very dense and sweet and it is very hard to resist a good macaron!


Last but not least, this is how I will looks like if I decided to buy every flavor of macarons that they have in store on that day.

Thank you hubby for buying us those 6 pieces of macarons that I've been craving for the past few weeks. On top of that, thank you dear hubby for not letting me go crazy on ordering every type of macarons flavors as it have save my teethes from falling over at the age of 29 years old young ehehehe.

Jom jalan2 kat Disneyland Paris pulak

Since it is getting cold here, our activity of jalan2 cari pasal is a little bit suspended. In fact, the first snow for 2010 in Fukuoka had started to show off this morning. Masa I gerak dari rumah nak ke kampus, ada salji sikit je tapi bila dah sampai kat kampus, tiba2 je salji jadi lebat...terkejut mak, nasib baik memang dah standby glove dalam kereta nyah!.

Lagipun sekarang ni hari Sabtu pun I ada kelas, so aktiviti jalan2 kami kat sini makin terbantutlah. Memandangkan ada beberapa request dari kawan2 blog sebelum ni yang mintak I cerita pasal jalan2 kat Europe jugak...so I decided untuk segmen travel and living in Yatie Chomeyl's Blog bagi minggu ni, I akan bawak you guys jalan2 kat Disneyland Paris pulak lah ye. OK tak?

Disneyland Paris ialah sebuah tempat percutian dan rekerasi yang terletak di Marne-la-Vallee, sebuah pekan baru di pinggir timur bandar Paris, Perancis. I went to Disneyland Paris on June 2007 dengan kawan2 Malaysia yang sekelas dengan I masa I buat master dulu.

Sebenarnya masa tu kitorang pergi Paris Air Show, dan alang2 dah ada kat Paris tu..teruslah kitorang menjejakkan kaki ke Disneyland jugak. Disneyland Paris terdiri daripada dua taman tema iaitu Disneyland Park dan juga Walt Disney Studio Park.



It has been ages ago that I've been to Disneyland Paris so, forgive me when I couldn't recall how much was the ticket price during that June 2007. But, as for now the ticket price for adult cost about £48(RM 200).

-------------------(A) DISNEYLAND PARK-----------------------------------

Disneyland Paris was divided into 5 interesting lands. We can experience our favorite Disney Lands just as you remember them from the classic Disney stories where fairytale really do come true. Ternganga mulut sorang2 tengok babak cerita kartun masa kecik terpampang depan mata, terus tak ingat umur masing2 dah 25tahun...berlagak macam umur baru 5 tahun, melompat keriangan di sana sini ekekekeke.

(1) Main Street USA

Turn back the clock to 1900 and enjoy the boundless charm and hospitality of a small-town during 1900's. Stroll past Victorian stores, take a horse-drawn streetcar and cool off at the Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlour. Just like in the good old days when Walt Disney was a boy.



There are 3 attractions here at Main Street USA namely:-

• (i) Disneyland Railroad,
• (ii) Horse-Drawn Stretcher
• (iii) Discovery Arcade.

Kitorang naik train kat Disneyland Railroad tu tapi tak berksempatan nak naik kereta kuda kat situ.



(2) Fantasy Land
You'll believe in make-believe in the happiest of lands - Fantasyland!.This is the place where you will see the fairytales and stories that inspired Disney's classic animated films come vividly to life.

There are 7 attractions offered here in Fantasy land which are :-

• (i) 'it's a small world'
• (ii)Peter Pan's Flight
• (iii)Alice's Curious Labyrinth
• (iv)Sleeping Beauty Castle
• (v)Mad Hatter's Tea Cups
• (vi)Dumbo the Flying Elephant
• (vii)Les Voyages de Pinocchio

Memang serius rasa macam berada kat alam fantasi lah masa pusing2 kat area ni. Terus berangan jadi Yatie Chomot Alice in Wonderland gitu eheh.



(3) Frontier Land
Mosey through the legends of the Wild West. Cruise on a paddle steamboat and ride a runaway mine train on Big Thunder Mountain. Young folk can play in the Pocahontas Indian Village, while sharp-shooters can test their aim in the Rustler Roundup Shootin' Gallery.



There are 3 attractions available here in Frontier Land which are :-

• (i)Big Thunder Mountain
• (ii)Phantom Manor
• (iii)Thunder Mesa Riverboat Landing

Big Thunder Mountain tu sebenarnya macam roller coaster jugak, tapi trek dia tak mencabar sangat *ceh berlagak, padahal masa naik tu sumpah rasa nak terkucil sangat, menjerit sampai nak terkeluar mak bapak anak tekak*. Yang bestnya sebab masa selekoh tu rasa macam roller coaster tu nak terjatuh dalam tasik.

Phantom Manor pulak rumah hantu yang taklah taku sangat pun, tahap keseramannya takleh lawan kisah2 seram yang I dah lalui sebelum ni hohoho.



Thunder Mesa Riverboar Landing tu pulak more on an old paddle steamer for a leisurely riverboat ride around the Old West sights of Frontierland. Kiranya dia bawak pusing2 tasik naik kapal retro tu je lah.

(4) Adventure Land

Adventure land brings you a whole new world of excitement and thrills, as you rub shoulders with pirates on the high seas, tackle perils with Indiana Jones or take to the trees with the Swiss Family Robinson.

There are 3 attractions here in Adventure Land which consists of :-
(i) Indiana Jones™ and the Temple of Peril
(ii)Pirates of the Caribbean
(iii)Pirates' Beach

Masa kat sini jugak kami terserempak dengan lanun bercermin mata. Terus kami semua serbu itu lanun untuk ajak posing. Terbalik pulak kan, patutnya lanun yang serbuuu orang awam..ni orang awam yang lebih2 gi serbu lanun ngeeeeee.



(5) Discovery Land
Discoveryland is where the future predictions of great visionaries come to life. Fast-forward to the edge of the universe with Space Mountain: Mission 2 or Captain EO, starring Michael Jackson.

~ masa I gi tahun 2007 tu rasanya tak de lagi Discovery Land ni, so takleh nak cerita apa2 lah ek~.

(2) Back Lot

Masa kitorang gi ni jugak, cuaca just nice..tak sejuk dan tak panas. Yang paling I tak boleh lupa masa jalan2 kat Disenyland ni ialah peristiwa di mana kawan I si Wani tu hampir2 kehilangan anak dia. Masa tu anak Wani umur 2 tahun kot, tengah lasak berlari sana sini. Masa Wani gi toilet, dia bawak sekali anak dia..alih2 si kecik Nuha tu tiba2 keluar tinggalkan ummi dia sorang2 dalam toilet. Nasib baik masa I tengah beratur nak naik rides lain tu, I ternampak petugas kat Disneyland tu tengah dukung Nuha. So, I approach dan bagitahu yang I kenal parents baby ni. Pucat gila muka Wani masa tu, tapi bila dia nampak je I dukung nuha terus dia sengih2 macam kerang busuk yang kelegaan ehehehe.

Yang penting kalau nak gi Disneyland ialah stamina untuk round taman tema tu dari pagi sampai lah pintu pagar tutup. Semangat juang yang tinggi jugak di perlukan untuk beratur sebelum dapat naik rides. Lagi best kalau dapat memunculkan diri masa mula2 pintu pagar operating hours di buka dan keluar masa last sekali pintu pagar closing hours di tutup. Kalau kebetulan pergi masa cuti pulak, tanggunglah hazab nya beratur berjam2 sebelum dapat naik rides idaman hati.

Sorry lah ye kalau cerita tak banyak, dan gambar je over sebab dah 3 tahun berlalu. I pun dah ingat2 lupa rides apa yang I main masa tu. Since I penakut dan cepat mabuk, I tak naik sangatlah rides yang macam extraordinary adventurous. Kalau u all memang jenis tahan mabuk dan berani, memang best dan syok lah dapat gi kat Disneyland kan?.
