Survey of Acceptance and Intention Towards Urban Agriculture

Entry hari ini nak memenuhi permintaan a friend of mine yang nak minta kerjasama u oll yang cun melecun cantik jelita hensem bergaya sekalian untuk isi survey pasal  Acceptance and Intention Towards Urban Agriculture.

(1) Adakah anda tahu bahawa bahan-bahan utama untuk menyediakan semangkuk tom yam boleh didapati di sekitar rumah kita? Namun kebanyakkan dari kita lebih suka membelinya dari kedai. Bila dah beli tu tentulah dibeli dalam kuantiti yang banyak macam cili padi 50 sen, serai seikat, daun limau purut seikat. 

Dari jumlah yang dibeli adakah kita menggunakannya secara maksimum. Sudah pastinya ada antaranya ke bakul sampah jua perginya disebabkan kering di dalam peti sejuk. Tidak hairanlah apabila Jabatan Pengurusan Sisa Pepejal Negara menganggarkan 45% daripada sisa pepejal yang dibuang setiap hari adalah MAKANAN. 

JPSPN juga melaporkan bahawa sikap membazir membuang sisa makanan ketara di kawasan bandar berbanding penduduk di pedalaman/kampung.

(2) Setiap tahun juga Negara terpaksa mengimport makanan dari Negara jiran bagi memenuhi keperluan makanan Negara sehingga menyebabkan imbangan dagangan (balance of trade) makanan negatif disebabkan nilai import yang melebihi nilai eksport setiap tahun. 

Senang kata kita sebenarnya bergantung sepenuhnya kepada pasaran import, bayangkan sekiranya berlaku sebarang bencana atau sekatan ekonomi pastinya ianya memberi kesan kepada harga makanan seperti mana istilah ekonomi di mana apabila permintaan melebihi penawaran maka harga meningkat. 

Ini disebakan oleh pengeluaran makanan di Malaysia tidak memiliki kapasiti bertahan kerana sangat sensitif kepada gejala alam dan perubahan pasaran.

(3) Dengan pertambahan bilangan penduduk, kawasan pertanian yang semakin terhad kita sebenarnya terdedah kepada ‘food shortage’. Justeru bagi menjamin keselamatan makanan Negara, Kementerian Pertanian dan Industri Asas Tani berserta institusi pendidikan kini giat mempopularkan fenomena bercucuk tanam di kalangan penduduk bandar khususnya. 

Ini kerana pertanian bandar merupakan antara solusi terbaik buat masa kini kerana pengguna dapat menggunakan hasil pertanian sendiri. Dengan cara ini juga pembaziran bahan makanan juga dapat dikurangkan malahan kita dapat menyediakan makanan yang berkhasiat untuk keluarga kerana kita menggunakan bahan-bahan makanan yang segar. Manfaat lain yang boleh diperoleh menerusi kaedah pertanian bandar ialah pengguna dapat mengurangkan kos perbelanjaan dapur selain menambah pendapatan jika produk pertanian yang dihasilkan dapat dipasarkan.

Apabila ramai yang mengambil pendekatan untuk menanam sayuran di kediaman mereka, secara tidak langsung harga makanan seperti sayur dapatlah distabilkan.

Huggies Malaysia Book of Record event

Remember this event?

OK, I know it has been almost 1 month++ since the event took place, tapi hari ni baru terhegeh-hegeh nak update. But then, better late than never; aite?


My SIL and I registered for the 8 p.m. slot. I was told by the Huggies® team that, I've missed the chance of meeting some celebrities who have come earlier to join the event with their babies such as Tini 3R, Daphne Iking and Faezah Elai.

There were registration counter provided, where you have to register your baby (using their MyKids) upon arriving. Then we were given a set of Huggies® Dry Pant (according to your child's size) and a 'coupon' for a free photo after the diaper changing took place.

After that, we proceed to the changing table area. There were a number of table which is enough for the parents in each different slot to change their child's diaper. Dustbin and wet tissues were also provided.

It was so easy to change SN Jr's diaper on that day, thanks to the super feature of Huggies® Dry Pants i.e. easy-to-use option for active infants *who love to roll left and right and kick his leg up high during every diaper change session* like SN Jr. Besides that, I guess he was also fascinated by so many things/activities to see around him that he forgot his 'routine' of rolling & kicking hehe.

I was reluctant to join this event at the first place as I thought it would be difficult for me to join the event and for hubby to take care of Abg SN and at the same time, to be my official photographer. But, man I was wrong. The Huggies® team has planned everything in advanced.

Huggies® provided special play area for the older kids (abang & kakak) to have fun while mommy/daddy attending the diaper changing event. So mommy can join the event peacefully and Daddy can take mommy's photo while standing next to the play area without being worried that Abg SN will be running here and there inside the huge OU mall. 

Special gift were also provided for those who bought the Huggies® Dry Pants on that day. 

More than 2,100 moms and babies participated in this history-making event, including celebrities like Amber Chia (with her son Ashton), Belinda Chee (with her daughter Danielle), Daphne Iking (with her daughter Iman), Faezah Elai (with her baby Dealova) and Kartini Ariffin (with her daughter Kaseh).

This was also a chance for participants to make a difference in the lives of the less fortunate: Huggies® Dry Pants partnered with non-profit organization OrphanCARE, which believes that ‘every child needs a family’, and will donate a diaper pack to disadvantaged babies for each diaper changed during the record-setting attempt; which means at least a number of 2000 diaper packs will be donated to the less fortunate infant/toddlers after the event...wow *bravo Huggies®*.

Pretty much I couldn't really allocate my valuable time to update blog regularly as what I've promised to do before this *sampai ada few friends yang dah send message kat FB tanya bila I nak update blog macam dulu2 LOL*.

Being hooked up with couples of commitments at my workplace followed by hectic schedule at home dealing with my two sons, I could only have my 'me' time after both boys went to bed (and usually I dozed off to lala land with them too) hahahha.
