3.75 stars to Ombak Rindu

After a week of continuous effort, hubby finally gave in to my persuasion and did what I wanted him to do i.e. to watch Ombak Rindu at the cinema last Friday night. I made online reservation for midnight show and left SN under Tok Umi + Tok Abah + Cik Iti + Cik Amah's supervision, and by 10.45p.m off we went to Sunway Piramid.

I purposely didn't want to bring SN along as it was already midnight so I don't want to kacau his bedtime. Plus, he's afraid of loud sounds so I don't want him to cry out loud as it will annoyed others. Also, I don't think this kind of movie is appropriate for SN's view. I did saw some parents bring along their babies and toddlers to watch the movie; I guess they have their own reasons for that.

We ordered 2 cans of Nescafe, just in case we get sleepy while watching the movie. The movie was OK and I give 3.75 out of 5 stars. I love Lisa's acting in this movie and I wish she would be given more antagonist role after this. Am not going to give any review as there's a lot have been done by others, but if you've read the novel; you'll definitely would want to watch this movie.

I shed a little tears while watching the scene when Izzah was chased out of the house by her MIL, so hubby asked me "why are you crying?". Ceh, takdop perasaan simpati punya owang.
