Remembering MH17: 9M-MRD

A very sad news indeed for Malaysia Airlines and the whole nation. I believe this is the best time for we Malaysians to unite as ONE and forget all the differences that we have be it in ethnics, religions and political views.


Most important lesson that we learnt from this incident is everyone will die and we cannot hide from death.

"Everyone shall taste death. And only on the Day of Resurrection shall you be paid your wages in full. And whoever is removed away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise, he indeed is successful. Siblings get-together

Salam

"Having lots of siblings is like having built-in best friends" said Kim Kardashian..and I'm totally agree with her. I come from a big family of 8 siblings and I'm the 3rd. We used to do all the silly and naughty things during our childhood day (except for my eldest sister Kak Nur who was always ma & abah's sweetheart). 

Now that some of us married, we rarely spent time together except during raya or if there's BIG family event like wedding. Unlike hubby's siblings who get to spent most of their weekends together in KL. And so when my siblings decided to come all the way from KL (Kak Nur, Epik, Eji & Awin), Kuantan (Pein & Asyo) and Kelantan (Abe De) to visit my little hut in Johor during the CNY holiday......I feel so excited.

Although this means that we weren't able to attend hubby's newly born niece aqiqah ceremony; but hubby seems to be OK with it....well I guess he did so, just to make sure that his wife stays happy. A happy wife makes a happy family, you don't know meh?

I get to welcome all 7 of them plus 4 nieces + 1 nephew + 2 SIL = 14 people into my 2 storey 4 bedroom rented house. It might be a bit packed for others but for us, we used to be in this 'crammed' situation when we were small...thus everyone seems to enjoy being together and the perks of taking turns to use the bathroom doesn't seem to be an issue during the 3 days holidays.

As our main intention is just to get together, so I didnt really plan any busy and packed schedule for them while in Johor.  We just went to several places nearby to my house; while most of our free time at home were spent on cooking for 17 people..LOL.

These are the places that we've visited during the CNY holiday :-
(1) Wet World Batu Pahat

+- the entrance fee is RM15/person. water is not so clean, but pretty much the kids have lots of fun..and that's what matters the most -+

+- this place is actually just 5 minutes away from my home. jimat masa + minyak + duit tol...LOL -+

(2) Johor Premium Outlet

Of course, I HAD to bring them here. Plus, there were lots of SALE & OFFERS during the CNY holiday; that you can even get up to 70% discount on most of the shop. It was full house on that day that we had to 'fight' to get a table to sit for having lunch.

(3) Dataran Batu Pahat 

Fiesta Belon Gergasi dan Karnival Kebudayaan was held at Dataran Batu Pahat from 30th Jan to 8th Feb. The boys wanted to went out for karaoke and pool later at night, so only Kak Nur & her kids, SN's family and Epik went to Dataran Batu Pahat for the Fiesta. 

This visit is merely to fulfill my promises to Abg SN that he can play at the Soopa Doopa inflatable games when his cousins come. They (Abg SN, Tini & Fizah) were enjoying their moment of jumping on freely without having worried of being scold by mommy (like when he jumped from on top of sofa to mommy's cushion).

Besides that, they get to catch and hold rabbits as many times and as long as they want for the price of only RM2 per person. As for babies (Husna & SN Jr); they were also enjoying their time of 'catching' bubbles at the Dataran. It's good that we went there at night because the weather was nice and breezy.

Then the 3 days 2 nights holidays finally come to an end. It's time for us to live our life away from each other again and start thinking on a future plan for another family getaway. 

Abg SN suddenly become one grumpy and cranky boy instead of a cheerful and well-behaved boy for the past 3 days. I truly understand that it was just a way for him to show how sad he is for not being able to play with his cousins anymore....and I'm sure he is feeling frustrated for the fact that he'll has to play with his one and only playmate at the mean time a.k.a SN Jr (who never seems to understand the right way of playing with the toys hahahaha). *tunggu ye Abg SN, nanti mommy beranak ramai2 lagi..so you'll have lots of siblings like me hehehe*

Ke The Little Big Club di Puteri Harbour Family Theme Park di bulanpuasa

Mari sambung cerita Ke Sanrio Hello Kitty Town di Puteri Harbour Family Theme Park di bulan puasa. Hari ini kita sambung bercerita pasal ke The Little Big Club di Puteri Harbour Family Theme Park di bulan puasa pulak. 

There are 6 interactive play zones at the 2nd and 3rd floor for The Little Big Club.  The characters are Thomas & Friends, Barney, Bob the Builder, Angelina Ballerina and Pingu. 

Mula2 kitorang round kat 2nd floor dulu. Tengok jadual, ada Mini Show "Barney's Beach Party" kat The Little Big Club's Stage. So duduk layan Barney nyanyi2 joget2 dulu.  

Then we move on to Barney's Yard and Barney's Playhouse. Lama jugak lah abg SN main lari2 kat yard dengan playhouse tu. Mommy & Daddy temankan kejap je pastu kitorang duduk diam2 kat bench tepi tu.

Lepas tu masuk ke Pingu's Igloo pulak. Main arcade games yang ada kat dalam tu, nampak macam Mommy & Daddy lagi excited dari anak2 eheh.

Elok je keluar dari situ, Abg SN nampak Bob's Can Do Crew and Bob the Builder Play Structure area. Laju2 dia bukak kasut, masuk main kat situ. Bukan takat Abg SN je masuk main, Daddy pun tiba2 semangat naik turun slide. Konon2 bawak SN jr padahal nya, dia sendiri yang nak main ler tewww.....ehhehehe.

Tapi masa kat Angelina's Dance Studio, Cik Lin sorang je yang masuk kat situ. Mommy pun segan nak pakai tutu to dance on the stage. Cik Lin je la muka tak malu pakai tutu dan konon2 jadi ballerina kat situ ngeee.

At the 3rd floor, we were greeted by the Bumping Buffers Steamies & Diesels Ride. Semangat lah Daddy & Abg SN beratur tapi rupa2nya tak boleh naik sebab tak cukup ketinggian. Kata nya bahaya untuk budak2 bawah 110cm; so last2 Cik Lin sorang je lah yang naik. 

Untuk mengubat kekecewaan tak dapat naik bumper cars tu, kitorang naik Harold's Helitours Ride. Inipun 'bercinta' nak pujuk Abg SN naik. Siap pegang2 tiang tak nak naik sebab takut. Akhirnya Abg SN setuju nak naik ride ni dengan syarat dia naik dengan mommy, SN jr naik dengan Daddy sebab Abg SN tahu mommy sama penakut je dengan dia bab2 rides ni ahahaha.

We skipped the Windmill Ride and Colin Crane Drop Ride sebab dah yakin dan pasti Abg SN mesti meraung-raung meronta-ronta tak nak naik punya lah. So we moved on to the Bertie The Bus ride. This bus ride brings its passengers on its rounds but in a vertical circular motion. I swear I saw Abg SN bring his hands and cover his mouth, almost puking on the ride. While crying he says "I dont like this bus, I dont want to go circle". Sah, sahih dan 100% tiada keraguan bahawasanya Abg SN memang anak mommy *sebab sama sebijik perangai mommy yang penakut + senang pening + senang muntah* ehehehe.

The only ride that he enjoy the most at The Little Big Club is of course the Knapford Station Thomas Train ride. Yang ni eksyen, siap mintak nak naik 2x. Sambil tu siap buat bunyi "choo choo" lagi, dah lupa kejadian almost throwing up atas Bertie The Bus ride tadi kui3x.

Our last stop was at the Sodor Playground. Yang ni Daddy dah malas nak ambik gambar sebab dah penat kejar Abg SN kat dalam ni, Mommy duduk diam2 kat bench sambil susu kan SN jr, yang akhirnya tertidur kekenyangan dalam stroller lepas tu. Since park ni indoor, you might want to consider bringing in sweater for your kids/toddlers and small blanket for baby. I tak bawak so terpaksa guna nursing cover untuk selimutkan SN jr.

The last show that we watch was the Mini Show "Thomas Really Useful Sing Along" but it was not interesting enough for Abg SN so he leave the show and requested to continue playing at the Sodor Playground. Unfortunately for him, it's about time for us to leave the park sebab Mommy nak balik masak untuk juadah berbuka pulak.

We spent about 2 1/2 hours there, and I think it's fair enough for both kids and adult. I would say this park is suitable for kids 6 years and below. Parent (or in my case: Mommy) should be alert with the show so that you wont missed it. Upon entrance you'll be given the schedule to make sure you could catch the show.

I am quiet satisfied with the cleanliness of washrooms at the park. Also, the staffs were helpful and polite. So, I highly recommend you guys with kids 6 years and below to visit Puteri Harbour Family Theme Park during this Ramadhan to get the special price of RM55 for both parks (10th July to 5th August). Besides, you can save money on the makan2 part sebab puasa kan hehe.

Pssttt : On the way balik, Abg SN nampak Legoland pulak so dia pun request nak pergi situ. Yang Legoland kita tunggu dua2 besar sikit; baru berbaloi bayar tiket..idok kang mommy kena jaga adik sorang2 kat bawah, ini tidak adil! ngeee.
