Lesson learnt from Hazama AF9

The final concert for Akademi Fantasia 9 was held last Sunday night at Dataran Putrajaya. If I was in Malaysia, I'll probably be watching it there too.

Usually people were saying that dunia seni ini banyak yang buruk dari yang baik. But I wanted to share my point of view on the good thing that I've learned from the Winner of AF9.

I'm sure by now, people know that Hazama is the Winner for AF9. But, what some people might not know is that Hazama was selected for the prelude concert during AF4 but he didn't make it to be the Top 12 finalists. He tried again for AF5 , and again luck wasn't on his side at that time.


After the long awaited years, he finally made it to be one of the finalists in AF9 (after the surprise 'pengguguran') and he has proved that the quote --> “Dream what you want to dream, go where you want to go, be what you want to be. Because you only have one life and one chance to do it all.” — is not necessarily true all the time.

## Lesson 1: He got his second chance and he grabbed it; in order to make sure that his dream comes true.

Some people was able to reach for their dream easily. But there are also some 'selected' people who has to struggle to reach their dream. There will be ups and down on the journey of pursuing the dreams. But what makes the 'champion' differ than the others is that, "he work hard to achieve his dream and that he never give upon his dream".


## Lesson 2: Believe in yourself. Have faith in your abilities. Remind yourself that god is with you and nothing can defeat you!

To be honest, at first I used to think of Hazama's effort as 'not worth it'. I know he tried hard for it, but I do think he don't have to join AF anymore because Astro has acknowledged Hazama's talent as a singer and a performer by inviting him to take part in the events organized by Astro every year such as gegak gemilang astro, gempak selebriti astro, gempak desa, and also marhaban Astro!.

But, Hazama proves to me that I'm wrong for thinking that way because he wanted to show that by being the winner of AF9 (the final AF); more people will acknowledge his talent and they'll be more opportunity for him to breakthrough into the Malaysian music industry. Besides, he get to wins RM200K as a winner, siapa yang tak nak kan?.

Before winning this AF9, they were only few bunch of people who know him and most probably they are either AF's fan or even Meet Uncle Hussein fan's. But now that he won AF9, they'll be more people out there to appreciate his talent.

I just hope that Hazama will be able to finish his study in UUM so that he'll be a good singer as well as a smart artist in the future. Thank you Hazama for teaching me this 3 important and valuable lessons.
