How to spot fake Longchamp Les Pliage?

If you ask me the most obvious thing that I noticed for the past 3 weeks living in KL; I would probably say than more than 45% of the woman that I met anywhere in KL be it at the mall, waterpark or even masjid is carrying the Longchamp Les Pliage tote handbag!. 

Perghhhh terus rasa kagum sebab wanita2 Malaysia memang up to date bab2 handbag ni. Seiring dengan populariti mendadak handbag LC ini, maka peniaga2 pun tak melepaskan peluang untuk keluarkan fake LC handbag. 

There will be someone who will mislead you, with stock photos or photos of authentic bags (if you are buying online). Check the details of the bag to make sure that what you received, is the real thing. Karang rugi je bayar beratus2 tapi rupanya tak ori....tak ke sadis?

Before buying, eyeball the dimensions, check the measurements, then compare with official Longchamp website. Longchamp new colours of the canvas bags 2 times a year (for fall-winter and the spring-summer) but the leather trimming is same always.

So today I would like to share few tips on "How To Spot Fake Longchamp Les Pliage Tote Handbag?". *These tips below apply to the Les Pliages line of folding nylon canvas bags (not to Planetes, limited edition Pliage bags or the leather bags).**

I have here pictures of two bags. The blue medium with long handles one is real, and the green one is fake. 

(1) GENERAL

 The fake is on the left, the real deal on the right. Right away, notice the left bag looks too shiny and the handles don't look right: too short for long handles, and too long for short-handle variant.

 

(2) LEATHER

There is contrast stitching on the leather parts of the bag, which is a different colour than the leather itself on the visible side (and same colour as the leather on the back of the flap). 

 

On authentic/fake bag, it is almost a diamond pattern, and grain is not embossed as deeply as the logo. The fake leather looks like a fish-scale pattern, with clean lines of even depth.

(3)  LEATHER FLAP

An authentic bag has a jockey logo embossed on both the leather AND the snap. If there is no logo at all..... beware!!!

 The back of the flap for real bag has writing above the stitching. This may, however, vary from bag to bag. On my tote, the words Le Pliage "shopping" modèle déposé are between the lines of stitches and the word Longchamp are embossed above the stitches. 

 (4) REINFORCED SNAP

 An easy one! Real bags have their snaps reinforced with clear plastic discs that extend beyond snaps on the inside of the bag. The foldable Pliages also have snaps near the bottom.

(5) FABRIC

The fabric on fakes is usually too shiny and texture is much smoother compared with real. If a bag looks too shiny in a photo, you may want to double-check it's other features.

 

(6) ZIPPER PULL

Longchamp Pliages have round logo zipper pulls, which can be gold or pewter depending on what shape the bag is. The real one is extremely detailed, and on the fake the bodies of the jockey and the horse blend together. Also for the fake zipper, the "gold/pewter"  will become corroded or the colour is fading.

(7) BACKSIDE OF FLAP

Fake bag leather looks hairy and the edges jagged. Real one is also raw but is smooth and clean.

(8) WORDS ON THE BUTTON SNAP 

On the snap itself, the real bag says, "ORIGINAL" while the fake one has no words or some other miscellaneous words.

(9) SHAPE OF THE END ZIPPER LEATHER

At the end of the bag, there's a small leather. There's a slight difference in terms of shape of the piece of end leather between real and fake bag; refer below picture for better understanding.

(10) ZIPPER POSITION
For the real bag, the zipper should be in the right position when it is close. As you can see in below picture, for fake bag the zipper position in close condition is on the left side.

(Video): Hukum Hudud

Salam di hari Jumaat buat semua,

Hari ini I nak share satu filem pendek yang menerangkan tentang hukum hudud secara umum. Filem pendek ini diterbitkan bertujuan untuk menjawab persoalan dan kekeliruan yang mungkin timbul setelah anda menonton klip video 'Sembang Rakyat' yang bertajuk Video : 'Musim hudud' dan Video 'Hudud lagi'.

Semoga klip video ini dapat memberi manfaat kepada sesiapa penonton.

Dialog2 yang terkesan di hati selepas menonton video ini ialah :-

• Hudud ialah hukum syariah untuk kesalahan JENAYAH

• Curi yang sempurna, baru kena HUDUD

• Orang Islam percaya pada hukum Islam jadi kena lah ikut hukum Islam

• Dengan kejahilan, menghina hukum Allah tanpa di sedari..boleh terbatal Aqidah

• Allah tahu kesalahan2 yang tidak boleh diubati dengan hukum manusia sendiri, kerana itu Allah suruh jalankan hudud untuk masalah2 yang tidak boleh di selesaikan dengan hukum manusia.

Macam life kat Jepun tu bagus sangat...tapi MEMANG pun!

It has been almost 3 weeks that SN and I were here in Malaysia. The first 2 weeks here has been quite a bit of disaster for us as we have to adjust ourself with Malaysia lifestyles and environment. 

Bukan nak berlagak sebab baru balik dari Jepun ke apa, but this is just a reminder for me supaya lepas ni bila balik Malaysia lagi, I can be more prepared to cope with these situations :-

(1) Malaysian driving 'skills' is to rempit all the way and cilok mencilok is a must!

Hari mula-mula sampai je, I dah sesak2 dada sebab terkejut dengan corak pemanduan driver KL termasuklah hubby I sendiri. Entah berapa kali I urut dada, mengucap dan baca macam2 jenis doa masa mula-mula masuk kereta in the first week tu. 

On the 2nd week, I start to drive. Sumpah I bawak sopan sangat e.g. bila I nak change lane I tunggu line betul2 clear baru I masuk, then hubby & SIL tegur kalau macam tu kat KL...3 jam baru I dapat changed lane...fine!. 

Now slowly I dah boleh ingat balik gaya rempitan orang Malaysia dan slowly I pun dah mula kembali merempit jugak eheh.

(2) Customer service

I went shopping at Te.sco masa hari mula2 sampai. Everything went well until masa nak bayar kat cashier. I get super annoyed sebab ada few items yang tak dapat di bayar sebab barang tu tak de barcode. Then cashier tu macam malas nak ambil yang lain and insisted that if I nak barang tu, I pergi ambil sendiri. 

Lagi best, sambil dia scan barang2 yang I beli tu, dia borak2 dengan cashier kat kaunter sebelah.."Eh, Jah tadi pun ada orang beli towel ni. elok ke ye?'.

What the F ????. EH hello, kalau kau nak borak2..lepas aku dah habis bayar boleh tak?. Dah lah borak2 pasal towel yang aku beli...borak lah pasal benda lain. In a way bunyi nya macam kepochi sangat dengan tuala tu..apa kes?.

OK, I tahu bunyi macam kecik je perkara tu tapi it made me feel super annoyed sebab in a way cashier tu buat I membandingkan dia dengan service kat mall kat Jepun. Jauh punggung dari perut OK. 

Cashier kat sana tak ada nya nak borak2 pasal barang yang customer beli tu depan2 customer; lepastu cashier kat sana kalau barang tu tak ada barcode...cashier tu pergi ambil sebab bukan salah customer kalau tak ada barcode..salah pekerja mall tu la yang tak buat kerja dnegan betul2 ye dak?.

(3) Toilet cleanliness

Sebaik sahaja I keluar dari arrival hall, I bergegas cari toilet kat LCCT tu. Serius kotor dan bucuk hancing tak padan dengan status as airport. Even bilik salin diapers pun tak terurus dan busuk. Even SN yang baru umur 2 tahun setengah tu pun rasa geli nak pergi toilet. Itu kat airport, kalau kat tempat lain lagi la hazabedah tahapnya especially kat shopping mall. 

Tapi tak semuala kot, hari tu I pergi toilet kat IKEA and Midvalley, cleanliness is quite OK lah.

(4) Food

Yang ini I tak ada masalah lansunglah nak cope sebab the best thing about living in Malaysia is that I tak payah susah2 nak masak bekal kalau nak keluar jalan2. Yippeeee....seronoknya menambah lemak di badan ni ehehe.

Tapi for SN memang big problem jugaklah. First 2 weeks in Malaysia ni, memang berperang nak paksa dia makan. Minum tak nak, makan tak nak...vitagen je nak. I dah siap plan nak beli beras jepun dah tapi hubby cakap tunggu dulu, bagi SN try makanan Malaysia dulu.

Awal2 hari tu SN cuma makan yang ada similarity dengan Japanese food la e.g tempura Pizza Hut tu and laksa sebab nak serupa dengan udon. Bila I singgah Sushi King dan belikan sushi kat dia, laju je dia ngap...adoyaiii tak kan hari2 mommy nak kena beli sushi king anak oooiii.

Tapi start minggu ni, appetite dia dah OK, semua benda yang di sumbat kat dalam mulut akan di ngap sepantas kilat. Susu pun dia dah start minum walaupun memilih cuma nak minum Friso Gold je..tsk3x. Tak pelah at least legaaaa sikit hati mak ko nak; tak payah beli beras jepun dah.

(5) Safety issue

Masa kat Jepun, kamera tertinggal kat public park pun boleh dapat balik kat lost & found. Tapi masa kat Malaysia ni, selipar croc celup berharga 488yen (~RM 20) yang di beli kat Jepun tu letak depan pintu rumah je pun..lesap sekelip mata. Uwaaaa sedihnya...huhuhuhu.

I guess these are 5 of the things that I have to bear in mind everytime I balik Malaysia especially sejak dah duduk Jepun 3 tahun setengah ni. Bukan maksudnya I berlagak, lupa daratan ke apa tapi believe me, kalau korang baru balik dari mana2 tempat pun be it oversea ke undersea ke; u can't help yourself to do comparisons.

I just hope tak ada pulak yang ingat I koya, berangan bagus baru duduk oversea 5-6 tahun dah berlagak macam lahir kat sana. Psssstttttt : lama tak membebel panjang2 kat blog, kalau update pendek2 rasa macam kentut tak puas je...kentut yang panjang dan bunyi menggelegak itulah yang terbaik .
