Baby SN's 16th months milestones

Entering 16th months old, Baby SN has becoming more active, more mobile and more cheeky than before. Here's some of his development during his 16th months of age :-

(A) Physical Development

1) Imitate activities more precisely - especially imitating our action of talking on the phone, jumping on the floor, cleaning the house, shouting (he'll shout back at me when I shout at him huhuhu) and etc

2) Kick a ball forward - able to kick the ball & throw it to us

3) Brush teeth and potty train - with help from the two of us; of course.

4) Stack two or three blocks into a tower and putting the right pieces of a jigsaw puzzles.

5) Love pens & color pencils so much - scribble on anything that's in front of him ~ books, furniture, and walls included.

6) Loves to eat - just like mommy hehehe. Nganga mulut tak kira masa, asal buka mata je, cari makanan. Siap cipta resepi baru, nasi + blueberry, memang tak pernah di buat orang hohoho.

7) Enjoy climbing and running - thus, mommy has succeeded to persuade daddy to buy him a slide of his own so that he can climb on it everyday as it is impossible for us to go the playground with him everyday. Therefore, our bedroom has turn into his playground with half of the room is occupied with his toys huhuhu.

8) Recognize shapes - able to insert various kind of shapes into the proper hole on a box with various shapes.

=- he skip the shapes that he didn't recognize i.e mouth-shaped & moon-shaped objects and proceed with other shapes. Then, once he is sure about the shape, he'll take it back -=

(B) Social Development

(1) Need to be rewarded with positive attention — kiss, hugs, claps , laughter and praise by saying "jouzu"(great),"sugoi"(cool) when he did something amazing

(2) Following simple instructions and understand these words - "kiss", "put on your shoes", "sit down", "go to daddy/mommy", "help me", "careful", "slowly", "come here", "give it to me" and etc.

(3) Using mommy/daddy as an extension of himself - For instance, if he sees a toy that he wants but can't reach, he'll push us toward it and gesture until we know what he wants.

4) Knows that he is powerful and he is the center of mommy & daddy's world - definitely create a 'scene' whenever his order is not fulfilled e.g dengan cara buat2 menangis siap keluar air mata meleleh2 lagi.

Alhamdulillah Baby SN grow up healthy and cleverer day by day. He has also completed almost all of his immunization & vaccination such as Diphtheria Pertussis Tetanus (DPT), Measles-Rubella, and Polio. His 2nd oral/polio vaccine will be taken next month.

When night come, I will secretly look at baby SN while he's fell asleep and thanked Allah for giving me this great gift into my life. I'm thankful and blessed to have hubby & baby SN in my life, and I hope we will always be happy with each other..always.. insya Allah. I pray to Allah that he'll always be healthy and gifted with intelligence..amin.
