=- on the way to Oita dan Aso -=
=- 40km/j je kelajuan kereta masa traffic jam tu huhuhu -=
This place is also a location of an active volcano and many hot springs. Many hot spring villages, including Tarutama, Jigoku, Aso, and Yunotani, are located inside and outside Aso-Kuju National Park. The Aso Uchinomaki-onsen-kyo Hot Spring Village, with more than 100 hot springs, is the largest among them.
Aso Mountain range around five mountains which are:- Mount Naka-dake, Mount Taka-dake, Mount Neko-dake, Mount Kijima-dake and Mount Eboshi-dake (located in the center of outer rim of the crater - 19 km east-west and 24 km north-south).
Aso-san has been worshipped as a sacred mountain. Those who witnessed and heard the overwhelming power of the mountain's infernos believed it was a kind of god and revered it. Aso began erupting about 300,000 years ago and 4 large eruptions, the last one of which was 90,000 years ago, formed the current caldera.
The inside view of the volcano crater can be experience from the Aso Volcano Museum. But we didn't enter the Volcano Museum as we arrived quite late to the place due to the heavy congested traffic on the way there.

We even had our lunch in the car boot itself as it is difficult to find some empty spot to enjoy our lunch. Plus, hubby dont want to be bothered carrying the foods and go high and seek for the perfect place, thus the car boot is the perfect place according to him.
=- parking pun penuh gila -=
Biarpun banyak mata yang memandang dan ada yang tersenyum sumbing melihat telatah kami, makan tetap makan...lagi pula hubby terus menerus mengingatkan I tentang konsep; "takpo, ore Jepun buke kenal kito pong. Kito kan tourist...wat rilek sudoh"....ngeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
=- makan bersungguh2 -=
Lepas dah isi perut penuh2, baru rasa bersemangat nak posing berdas2 berlatarbelakangkan keindahan alam.
Hubby siap cakap, "eh dah mace kat US pulop".
=- posing ala2 Aziz Satar sebab asyik sengih je ekekeke -=
The 1,506-meter-high summit of Mt. Naka-dake, one of the major volcanoes of the world, where the air is filled with the smell of sulfur, can be reached by a ropeway and car. We choose to climb on the Naka-dake san with our 'Cik Dina'.
=- Rope-way station -=
This Naka-Dake Mountain is the sole place in Japan where tourists at the summit can take a close-range look at the dynamic fumes rising from the crater, which extends about one kilometer north and south and about four kilometers east and west. Since it is an active volcano, shelter dugouts are provided around the crater.
=- ramainya orang huhuhu -=
The smell of the sulfur is quite strong and people having asthma is not encouraged to go near the crater.
The wind is also blowing quite strong on top of the mountain that even Baby SN is shivering; it's quite weird to see this budak yang selalu berpeluh ni menggigil kesejukan.
We decided to warm ourselves in one of the shelter dugouts provided there.
Being the typical Yatie Chomeyl, mestilah I sibuk2 nak suruh baby SN posing dengan Power Rangers tu kan..but as usual, Baby SN has also being the typical him that is soooooooo 'kowaaiii'(afraid) of anyone in a costume. Sigh..there goes mommy's hope to blog about Baby SN and Power Rangers. Nevertheless, I present to you the picture of Baby SN crying his heart out when mommy forced him to take a picture with Power Rangers. Biar baby SN malu bila dia besar nanti... muahahahaha.
We left the place before sunset and encounter another tiring hours of congested traffic due to an accident that took place on the highway. In spite of the long traffic congestion hours, we treasure the experience of visiting the Aso Kuju National Park.
Even so, we were very delighted to be given the chance by Allah to witness one of Allah's greenest and greatest invention on this earth. Alhamdulillah ..Thank you Allah.
