Sightseeing in Osaka city at night

http://www.murabbi.net/images/smiley/assalamualaikum.gif
Hari ini nak sambung cerita jalan2 di Osaka masa cuti Golden Week 2 minggu lepas. Since I have to attend a conference on the Saturday afternoon, sebelah malam je lah sempat jalan2 pusing kat Osaka city.

Shinsaibashi-suji Shopping Street is the famous roofed shopping street located in Minami, Osaka. "Shin-bura" means browsing around the Shinsaibashi area. Shinsaibashi-suji Shopping Street is running east of the Mido-suji Boulevard. On both side of 580 meters long roofed arcade, many amusement facilities stores are lined up and you can find all kinds of goods, including traditional costume, shoes, food, clothes, and others as you stroll through the street.

Mak buyung kelaparan lepas habis presentation tu. Hari sebelum tu, dah dinner kat bagus Restoran (Indonesian restaurant); so hari Sabtu tu tiba2 rasa nak makan western food. Singgah lah makan seafood pasta, seafood pizza and smoked slamon kat salah satu kedai di area Shinsaibashi tu. *you can check out list of halal restaurants in Japan (click here) *

+- 1st night in Osaka, dinner at Bagus Restaurant *left pic : soto ayam, right pic : nasi campur -+

+- 2nd night's dinner in Osaka --> seafood pizza, seafood spaghetti and smoked salmon -+

Lepas dah isi tank, baru semangat sikit nak jalan2. We walk along the Shinsaibashi-suji Shopping Street to Dotonbori. Sini kira tempat paling happening *ala2 Bukit Bintang lah kot* kat Osaka city ni. Dotonbori has numerous restaurants, stores, and entertainment facilities housed in buildings are crowded-ly located at sides of the canal.

+- nak berjalan pun susah weh -+

+- right pic : in front of the Kabuki theater -+

When all the neon signs of those buildings begin to glitter and the lights are reflected on the surface of the Dotonbori at night, as you walk around, you will be able to see what makes this place one of the most popular symbols of Osaka. Dotonbori is famous for Glico Man, Kuidaore Taro, Kani Doraku Crab(You can see their pics below.)

+- mari kita angkat tangan macam tu jugak *gedik angkat tangan, terus nampak perut yang buncit* -+

I was a bit tired and feeling nausea with the sights of too many people around me. Nak senyum pun tak larat sampai hubby tanya kenapa masam sangat ni?. The thing is when you are 4 months pregnant for your 2nd child *not forgetting in your late 20's*; ya ampun penatnya rasa lain macam. Dulu masa preggy kan SN; rilek je jalan sana sini walaupun perut dah sarat 8 bulan. Ni baru 4 bulan, jalan sikit dah mengah, jalan sikit dah penat..adoyaiii. So we opt for Dotonbori river cruise je la, boleh si lembik ni duduk diam2 dalam cruise tu untuk menikmati pemandangan Osaka city at night.

+- muka lesu mengalahkan orang dah ada anak 8 hohohoho -+

"Tonbori River Cruise" is a 20-minute cruise of Dotonbori River to see the bridges of Dotonbori-dori in Osaka. There are many bridges over the massive canal of Dotonbori. There are two bridges flanking the Dotonbori canal. The Dotonboribashi Bridge, popularly known as Midosuji Boulevard, is on one end and the Nipponbashi Bridge, also called Sakaisuji Boulevard, is on the other end. There are several footbridges in between connecting the Namba and Shinsaibashi shopping districts to Dotonbori, such as Tazaemonbashi and Aiaibashi.

+- pakat amik gambar bridge -+

+- siap ada illumination under the bridge -+

The Ebisubashi Bridge lies under the Glico Man billboard. Originally built to provide access to the nearby Ebisu shrine, the bridge is famous for being the ultimate pick-up spot in Osaka. Ebisubashi Bridge is the most convenient location for a meting or for going out into the lively Osaka nightlife.Ada lah sorang tourist guide yang duk explain pung pang pung pang pasal all those bridges, tapi kitorang tak faham sepenuhnya..so tak layan snagat lah dia cakap apa eheh.

+- abang kat depan tu tengah explain pasal bridge2 kat sini -+

+- bila dah dapat duduk rehat 20 minit, baru lah si lembik boleh senyum posing atas boat river cruise tu -+

Turun dari river cruise tu, jalan2 lagi di tengah manusia tu menuju ke Namba station. Nampak macam2 lah binatang2 gergasi kat signboard kedai. Contohnya kat bawah ni octopus kat kedai Kukuro dan jugak Dragon kat kedai Ramen.

+- besar kan binatang2 kat signboard tu -+

Mula2 plan nak pergi jalan2 lagi, tapi tiba2 I rasa sakit perut pulak. Dalam sakit2 perut tu, sempat lagi beli tart telur idaman hati.

+- yummyyyeaaah -+

Lepas beli tart telur tu, terus gerak balik hotel. Perjalanan balik tu rasa lama betul padahal hotel tu just one station away from Namba. Dah lah sakit perut, tak dapat duduk pulak kat dalam train tu..terkepit2 menahan sakit perut nak terb*rak. Bila sampai kat station yang dekat hotel tu pun, I kena duduk kejap kat kerusi sebab rasa nak pitam.

Semoga Naznin cepat sembuh.
