Watching a Baseball Game at Fukuoka Yahoo Dome sehingga hampir tertidur

Few days ago hubby decided to buy me an iPhone 3GS because all this while I am using a prepaid phone here. We choose the cheapest plan provided by Softbank for the phone where we should pay only about 2500¥= RM90 per months for 2 years. The good thing in buying hand-phone in Japan is that you don't have to pay anything masa mula2 beli. Bila dah datang bil untuk bulan seterusnya baru kena bayar, tu pun bayar by installment..so, tak lah terasa sangat duit tu mengalir keluar ihikhik hehe.

We received few goodies from Softbank, the only official carrier for iPhone in Japan. One of the goodies includes a ticket to watch a baseball game on Saturday; 27th March 2010 at Yahoo Dome between the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks team VS Orix team. The ticket will usually cost around 1000¥= RM40 or more for adult. Thus, we took the chance to use this free ticket and went to watch the baseball game despite the facts that both hubby & I tak berapa minat pun sukan ni.

We arrived to the Fukuoka Yahoo Dome perfectly on time for the game. The Fukuoka Dome
(福岡ドーム = Fukuoka Dōmu) is a baseball field located in Fukuoka. The stadium serves as the headquarters of the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks team. It was built in 1993 and the stadium can accommodate 35,695 spectators and it was Japan's first stadium with a retractable roof. The dome is located inside Hawks Town, nearby to the Momochi Beach area.

Since the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks (福岡ソフトバンクホークス Fukuoka Sofutobanku Hōkusu) are based in Fukuoka, most of the people going there are their supporters. Tapi bila diorang tepuk, I pun sibuk2 tepuk jugak lah ihikhik hehe. We could see many people are wearing the Softbank Hawks jersey and cheering loudly to support the team.

We were seated next to a really nice guy who love baby SN sooooooooooo much. He kept offering food to give to baby SN. At first, he offers a chicken nugget but hubby told him that we couldn't eat that. Then, he went to buy the potato fries for baby SN. After that, he went to the food stall again to buy a strawberry cookies to give to baby SN *pastu mommy & daddy tumpang makan sekali* eheh. Then, he also gives 2 balloons for baby SN *jenuh daddy kembung2 pipi nak tiup belon tu* sengihnampakgigi ngeee.

*baby SN & hubby with the nice guy*

It took me almost one hour to understand the rules of the baseball game explained by hubby hohoho. Since both hubby & I are not a fan of this game, we found it quiet boring to wait till the end. Ada atuk kat belakang kami menjerit2 bersemangat sokong tapi kami berdua plak siap menguap2 lagi masa tengok game ni gatai kui3x. We left the game during the 5th round. Anyway, Fukuoka Softbank Hawks win the game defeating the Orix team by 6-2.

Psssttt : Nasib baik balik awal, kalau tak entah2 tersengguk2 kami berdua kat dalam stadium tu gatai ekekekeke.

Spring Equinox Day (shunbun no hi)

The Vernal Equinox 2010 is a phenomenon that is occurring on the Saturday; 20th of March and marks the beginning of SPRING and the end of WINTER. It is also known as the March Equinox or the Spring Equinox. The vernal equinox 2010 is said to happen twice every year when the suns is exactly above the equator and marks the equality of both day and night, light and dark. The vernal equinox signifies a change in season and hence is regarded with great importance all over the world, both culturally and religiously.

The vernal equinox in Japan is celebrated by visiting the graves of people who have passed away as a way of honoring the dead. In Japanese language it is known as 'Shunbun No Hi', is celebrated all over Japan and is a time for cleaning the graves of ancestors. It is also common to leave gifts of fruit and rice cakes on the gravesides which are believed to make the passage to the afterlife easier. The day of the equinox is a public holiday encem throughout Japan.

*close up of cherry blossom flower*

We took the chance during this spring equinox public holiday to tour around the Maizuru-Koen (park) area to take a look at the cherry blossoms tree (sakura). Maizuru park is composed mainly of Fukuoka castle grounds and is bounded on two sides by the what remains of the castle walls and moat. It is a very pleasant place to stroll, particularly on a moonlit night in cherry blossom season. kenyit In the center of the park on top of the mighty castle walls is a viewing platform from which most of the city is visible. The park also contains the Heiwadai athletics track.

*fish & ducks at the lake*

*lovely view of Maizuru Park*

Though the weather is a little bit warmer than during the winter, it is still consider cold due to the windy and breezily heavy blow of wind from the open area of the lake. Thus, we didn't spent so much time at the park..lepas snap few pics, cepat2 masuk dalam kereta hohoho.

*baby SN tengah "geram" dengan bunga sakura*

Somehow it make me missed last year's spring season when I was carrying baby SN inside my tummy sebab masa tu I asyik panas je, jadi rasa seronok jalan2 sebab pakai jaket nipis pun rilek je. Last year, during this early of Spring season hubby & I was on a tour to Nagasaki --> *read : Journey to Nagasaki (part 1) --> Saikabashi Park, Journey to Nagasaki (part 2) --> Huis Ten Bosch, Journey to Nagasaki (part 3) --> the rest of Huis Ten Bosch, Journey to Nagasaki (part 4) --> Isahaya Koen, Journey to Nagasaki (part 5) --> Atomic Bomb Museum and Journey to Nagasaki (part 6) --> Hot Spring & Volcano*. This year punya Spring Season pulak, baby SN yang excited tengok bunga2 berkembang mekar encem ececece.

Yatie Chomeyl dah jadi Yatie Tak GLOBAL (T_T)

Tapi masa I tulis entry ni I dah tak geram ataupun marah, I tulis sambil sengih sengihnampakgigi sorang2 hohoho.

Semalam pergi medical check-up kat nursery baru baby SN yang dekat dengan rumah I ni.

Lepas tu, I bagitau kalau pihak nursery tak boleh sediakan makanan tu takpe, sebab I boleh buat makanan baby SN sendiri tiap2 hari macam yang I buat kat nursery sekarang ni.

I tak faham masa dia cakap tu, tapi I dapat nampak muka Fahmi & hubby tiba2 berubah jadi merah padam. Apa yang I dengar cuma dia cakap perkataan "global" dan "baka( ばか)= bodoh" je. I tak tahu pulak dia mengata tudung I masa tu.

♣ Kalau I ni tak global, kenapa negara makcik tua-berambut pendek-berkaca mata-berumur separuh abad-yang perasan global sudi terima I jadi pelajar kat universiti diorang

Lepas dah lama I duduk + bertenang untuk menghilangkan marah, I dapat berfikir dengan tenang dan terkenang kan beberapa peristiwa global yang berlaku dalam hidup Yatie-Tak-Global sebelum ini. nerd Sejujurnya I tak pernah berdepan dengan orang sekolot ini seumur hidup I merantau keseluruh dunia sebelum ini.
♦ Di Germany --> walaupun negara mereka murah dengan beer dan setiap majlis makan2 di Technical University of Munich di sediakan beer...mereka menghormati I dengan menyediakan jus buah untuk I
♦ Di Spain --> rakan sekuliah memahami bila I minta untuk sediakan makanan bagi jamuan supaya I boleh guna daging halal untuk memasak
♦ Di Paris --> sewaktu bersolat di Disnelyand, beberapa orang mengambil gambar I & kawan I sebab mereka tak pernah nampak sebelum ini tetapi tiada yang menghina
♦ Di Jepun sendiri--> dah beberapa kali, orang memuji yang tudung2 yang I pakai tu cantik dan siap ada yang nak bergambar dengan I (*read: click here*). malah sewaktu I pergi interview baru2 ini, (read: Dear Ms Luck,...please be with me today!) kerana menghormati makanan yang I tak boleh makan...kesemua panel of interviewer seramai 20 orang tu cuma makan seafood sahaja. Prof I pulak siap sediakan bilik khas untuk solat dan pam susu huhuhu *Prof I pun kiranya tak global gak la erk?*

Apabila I luahkan kemarahan ni kat FB, kawan2 I tolong buat beberapa kesimpulan sendiri tentang makcik tua-berambut pendek-berkaca mata-berumur separuh abad-yang perasan global dan sedikit sebanyak kesimpulan yang kawan2 I buat ni menenangkan perasaan I.

I rela mengusung baby SN naik turun keretapi setiap hari daripada membenarkan makanan tak halal memasuki sistem tubuh dia huhuhu.

# Lawak terbaru hubby & I kat rumah sekarang :- Yatie Chomeyl sudah bertukar jadi Yatie Tak GLOBAL..gatai harap maklum #

Baby SN's 9th months milestones

"A baby will make love stronger, days shorter, night longer, home happier, bankroll smaller, clothes shabbier, the past forgotten and the future living for". That is an anonymous quotes which I truly agrees with. These past 9 months 3 weeks that I've spent as a mommy to my little baby SN has been filled with lots of laughter, bundle of joys and also tonnes of worry tears.
