Snow boarding on a sledge at Tenzan Ski Resort

 

Semalam cerita pasal jumping & running on the snow, hari ni nak cerita pulak pasal Snow boarding on a sledge. 

Snow sledges are a great way for SN and I to enjoy the slopes together this year. Me and my  little one have spent few hours of fun whizzing down the slopes.Last year we went to Kokonoe Ski Resort  for our first experience with sled. As for this year, we headed to Tenzan Ski Resort Saga on the Sunday afternoon for our sledding activity.

Tenzan Ski Resort is the only full-service ski resort available in Kyushu and is covered with artificial snow. The resort opens from the middle of November to the end of March. Ski runs are located at 700 to 900m high and 600 to 1,000 m long.  Entrance fee is 2000yen for adult and free for kids.

I went there pun atas pelawaan jiran yang baik hati yang sudi tumpangkan kami bertiga dalam kereta diorang sebab nya incik hubby tak izinkan I drive sendiri ke Tenzan ni. Thing is jalan nak ke Tenzan Ski Resort ni sangat2 berliku2 dan selekoh2 tajam sampai I mabuk dan pening. Nasib baik bila sampai je kat situ, terus hilang segala pening.

Sebelum start main, alas perut dengan jajan dulu to make sure budak2 tak meragam masa main nanti. Since there was light shower of snow on that day, the artificial snow is somehow covered with the real one. Tapi tak la tebal sangat, just nice untuk meluncur turun dengan sled; tak laju sangat dan senang nak control speed.

After some time, we become tired of climbing up the hill so we end up sitting on top of the hill so that the kids can enjoy other activities besides snow-sledding such as snowball fighting and making snowman. Macam biasa, SN ambik kesempatan ni untuk berguling2 atas salji dan mengorek2 salji bajet cencorot .

Lama jugak lah duduk bersila kat atas tu tunggu SN & Darwisy main salji before we decided it's time to go home. On the way turun, SN mengada2 nak baring atas sledge board tu, maka mommy turutkan je la peel dia.

I give four out of five stars to this ski resort as the facility offered is family friendly where they even provide a heated room to warm up after the cold session in the snow. Sempatlah kitorang solat zohor & asar dalam heated room tu had our lunch and went home after that.

Overall, I can say this place is suitable for beginners and amateurs to start learning how to snowboarding and skiing down the hill. As for me, I memang tak berani nak snowboarding or skiing, takut jatuh kang terus skit2 badan. Badan ni nak pakai lama, dah la laki jauh; karang kalau sakit.....diri sendiri jugak yang susah. Maka pendamkan sajalah hasrat hati nak try aktiviti extreme cenggitu.

Pssstt : alasan je tak nak sakit2 badan konon, padahal memang penakut ngeeeee.
