Haa..tak faham ker weh? Sesekali mak buyung cakap tamil campur nihon-go...tersembur medula oblongata korang kan nak pikirkan maksudnya?

The Japanese Tea Ceremony was also known as Chanoyu, uses Matcha which is a unusual powdered tea that makes a wonderfully green elixir for the spirit. The tea ceremony is an attempt to achieve perfection for a seemingly simple act: preparing tea. It has precise rules and must be carefully prepared by expert only. Thus, 6 luvly woman *sangat lemah lembut dan sopan santun mereka2 ini* had prepared and served the tea to us at the 2nd floor of this building. As mak buyung is having difficulty to bersimpuh, I was given the specialty to just sit on the bench. However, I decided to join the others to kneel down to show the japanese woman some respect to their culture *dah la gi makan free, tak kan nak mengada2 pulak ..mentang2 boyot*.
At first I was a little bit reluctant to drink it as I'm afraid it might gives side effect to me and my baby. However one of the makcik that is preparing the tea convinced me that this tea has no negative effect rather than giving positive effects to my health. I found out through internet that the health benefits of matcha tea exceed those of green tea because when you drink matcha, you ingest the whole leaf, not just the brewed water. 1 glass of matcha = 10 glasses of green tea (in terms of its nutritional value and antioxidant content). It is also good for renown cancer fighting, great for cleansing the body of toxins and is believed to provide naturally mood enhancing *yang ni mak buyung tak sure sangat betul ke tidak...kalau ikutkan rasanya yang pahit tu, boleh wat mood lari woooo*.
After the tea ceremony was over, we head to the 1st floor for the ice-breaking session with the kohai. They were asked to introduce themselves in Jap-language *of course* and to tell a little bit about their hometown back in Malaysia. Two of them were also showing the Nihon-jin on their sepak-takraw techniques *tepuk tepuk..walaupun timbang bola asyik jatuh jer sampai selipar tercabut sebelah masuk bawah meja hik3x*
Sambil hadirin menikmati juadah, we were entertained with a guitar performance by Abg Nuri, Paan, Hassan, Ijat and Amir while the lead vocal is Syamim. Two songs were sing i.e Hingga Akhir Nanti (Alleycats - kucing jalanan) and Kau Ilhamku (Man Bai - bukan Bai Roti).

The function was ended with Japanese Traditional Dance - Bon Odori. Mak buyung didnt joined the dancing but incik hubby was asked to joined them *padan muka, sebab incik hubby duk sibuk2 tiru orang wat tapi takmo masuk circle..last2 kena jugak ekekkeke*. Each student *including the PhD students* were given some amount of money by the organization to appreciate their effort to come to this place *baik kan pakcik makcik ni..dah la bagi makan free, bagi pulak duit tambang*.
