On Sunday (04/05/09), a Dontaku Festival were held in Hakata, Fukuoka, Kyushu, Japan. As always, mak buyung and hubby joined the festival despite the fact that mak buyung is entering the end of 35th weeks pregnant *walaupon perut dah sarat, tetap semangat berjalan2 tak pernah pudar di hatiku...muahahahha*.
It took us about 2o minutes ride with train from Imajuku station to Tenjin station. We met the other anak2 bujang (Syamim, Helmi, Sidqi, Muhaimin, Paan & gepren) who is also on the way to the festival. Thus, hubby decided to walk together with them, senang sikit sebab diorang dah biasa dengan jalan2 kat sini..takderlah sesat nanti.
We went there with densha (train) as most of the road is closed for the festival.
Furthermore, there will be not enough parking space as it is expected to be over 2 million people will be joining the festival. I am actually suffering for flu + sore throat + bad cough, but I still insist hubby to brings me to the festival as I was bored staying at home *bila masuk bab2 berjalan, demam terus sembuh ekekeke*. Nasib mak buyung baik sebab di beri tempat duduk walaupun train penuh, takderlah penat sangat berdiri dalam train.
During the Dontaku Festival, many people, young and old, parade through the streets in various costumes, some playing the shamisen or beating drums, others clapping wooden spoons for scoping rice. The word 'Dontaku' comes from the Dutch word 'Zontag,' meaning holiday. Minggu ni bumi sakura cuti panjang dari hari isnin sampai hari rabu sempena Golden Week *mak buyung seronok la, incik hubby ada kat umah temankan mak buyung...idak ler boring duk sorang2 ngadap lappy je*.
(persembahan sepanjang perarakan)
(binatang2 peliharaan pon nak berarak gak)
We spent almost 4 hours there and we walked about 10km along the Meiji street (sila lah merasa kagum dengan kebolehan mak buyung berjalan sejauh ini). It is really interesting to see such parade with variation of traditional costumes by the Japanese and also International people. Cuma tahun ni geng2 Malaysia tak join parade ni, maybe next year dah leh join...time tu baby SN pon dah keluar dari perot mommy, takderlah berat sangat perut mommy nak berjalan nanti hik3x.
By 5pm, I already feel tired of walking and we had already covered the whole parade street. Thus, we decided to walk home with the luvly memories of Hakata Dontaku Festival 2009 remain in our heart as memory is the diary that we all carry about with us forever in our life.
(posing miang sebelum bertolak balik)
Psssssstttt: Macam biasa bila sampai rumah je, sakit2 badan menyerang. Demam pon jadi makin teruk. Agaknya kena keluar berjalan tiap2 hari kot baru sihat walafiat hehehe.
